The Deal of a Lifetime is a father’s story to his son that is told every Christmas Eve. It’s the story of a man finding that he might be able to help a little girl dying from cancer and is stuck in the hospital during Christmas. Of course it wouldn’t be Hallmark Christmas movie-esque without a love story. Hiddensee: A Tale of the Once and Future Nutcracker – Gregory Maguire
Hiddensee is an incredible spinoff of the Christmas ballet classic The Nutcracker. Gregory Maguire is famous for his story that took place in a land called Oz in Wicked. In 2017 Maguire took his turn at taking his readers on another journey through the backstory of The Nutcracker. Some may say it’s not Christmas without the Christmas Carol. We may not go quite that far, but we do agree that it is not Christmas without at least one classic.
