Publisher Description

Claire Danvers has her share of challenges—like being a genius in a school that favors beauty over brains, dealing with the homicidal girls in her dorm, and above all, finding out that her college town is overrun with vampires. On the up side, she has a great roommate (who tends to disappear at sunup) and a new boyfriend named Shane, whose vampire-hunting dad has called in backup: cycle punks who like the idea of killing just about anything.

Now a fraternity is throwing its annual Dead Girls' Dance and—surprise!—Claire and her equally outcast best friend, Eve, have been invited. When they find out why, all hell is going to break loose. Because this time both the living and the dead are coming out—and everybody's hungry for blood.

"The narration is so much better than the first book I feel. Rachel Caine has done a great job with this book I could not stop listening because she makes the flow of the book so great. This one is now starting to add new players and getting more in-depth to start understanding the characters. I am really starting to love this series of books. I like that we are getting to know the characters better and the dynamic of each one is starting to show more. I am on the 3rd book now and can not wait to see what happens next. "

" I liked this installment of the series better than the first one. I DO have to remind myself, at times, while reading what it was like to be 16 when I see some of the insane decisions that Claire makes, but being 16 is all about making bad decisions - so it makes her a believable character. " The second instalment of Rachel Caine's best selling series definitely does not disappoint. It can be hard for sequels to live up to the first book, but Dead Girls' Dance succeeds in knocking the reader over with suspense, humour and a lil bit of love. "

" Igual que el primero, muy bueno. Divertido, aunque le quitare una estrella por cierto "accidente" ocurrido en cierta fiesta... un poco idiota la reaccion de Claire, asi que... por muy buen corazon que tenga esta chica, lo siento, no es creible (y hablamos de un libro de vampiros). "

" Ok, nobody is ever going to confuse the Morganville vampire books with great literature, but so far, they have been a fun little escape. Interesting characters and a good story. And I have to say that I'm happy this one ended with much less of a cliff-hanger than the first one! "
