"Okay this is book 11 and I loved that Rachel Caine kept up with the last book and showed us more through the eyes of other characters. Like always Claire was the one who got into trouble and she ended up dead but of Mernin is the one who saves her and lets her choose what she wants to do and that relationship is more like a farther and daughter and I like that a lot. The rest of the book was good but I think that was the best part of the book. It leaves us wanting to know more and see if Morganville will win or will they loose. Cant wait to see what happens in the next book. "

— Kirkus Reviews" The best one so far and that says a lot. Myrnin is one of my favorite characters in literature. "
— Lea, 2/20/2014" Ah, Morganville...what can you say about these books. They are very fast paced and consequently very quick reads. There wasn't far enough Myrnin time in this book. I'm still waiting for Claire and Myrnin to hook up, though it's probably never going to happen. It was interesting to get some chapters from Amelie's perspective. They never did explain why Claire could see the Draug and no one else could. Maybe in the next book? "
— Kieraanne, 1/6/2014" I can say without any hesitation that this is by far my favourite book of the series so far, several times it had me turning pages like a madwoman, and to leave it on that cliffhanger!!!! so so glad there are going to be 4 more books in the series! "
— Jordana, 12/31/2013" OMG!!!!! This is my favorite on-going series!!! There's a new evil in town and even the vamps are running scared but not Claire and the gang. There's action and lots of romance for our favorite 4. I Love This Series!!!!!!! Fantastic!!!! "
