Publisher Description

When Claire Danvers learned that her college town was run by vampires, she did what any intelligent, self-preserving freshman would do: She applied for a transfer and stocked up on garlic. The transfer is no longer an option, but that garlic may come in handy. Now Claire has pledged herself to Amelie, the most powerful vampire in town. The protection her contract secures does little to reassure those closest to Claire. All of a sudden, people are turning up dead, a stalker resurfaces from her past, and an ancient bloodsucker extends a chilling invitation for private lessons in his secluded home. To what end, Claire will soon discover—and it will give a terrifying new meaning to night school.

"in midnight alley, we find out that claire has signed the contract that officially makes her amelie's property, to protect her friends from the vampires...so amelie wants her to study with myrnin...myrnin is actually a very old and really insane vampire but at the same time he is very important for our story and he is actually really clever...so he tries to teach claire everything he knows which isn't as easy as it sounds because somehow, he prefers to eat people than teach them...so amelie locks him in a cell in his own lab to keep claire safe...together they try to find a cure for a disease that is going to kill all the vampires... myrnin has some kind of crystals which are like drugs and help him be his self again, at least for a few hours...meanwhile claire and shane's relationship is perfect and so is eve and michael's but when they learn about what claire has done behind their backs they are really upset and angry with her...and guess what???the high bitch (sorry but it's really necessary) monica wants to hang out with claire and she invites her to her party and there, really crazy things happen because they find michael hold a girl in a room and they think that he bite her....so they walk at night and on their way home, jason attacks them and shane gets shot because he tries to protect eve and claire...when they go to the hospital, they learn that michael found that girl there and he was trying to save her..in the end, when they all go home, claire's parents visit them and what they say is really really bad...they're moving to morganville and they brought with them the mysterious mr. bishop who is actually a vampire, but not any vampire...he is amelie's father and he wants to talk to his daughter, otherwise he will kill everyone that lives in the glass house, including claire's parents... i haven't got much to say for this book...only that it was amazing...as the story continues, the plot becomes more and more interesting and the end especially in this book, was enough to make me want to read the next books so badly and see what happens with all this new stuff that's going on...the third book of the morganville vampires series is worth reading along with the rest ones of course and by the way, they all need to give claire a break...seriously she's had enough...."

" There's a big secret that Amelie has told to Claire and she has been to ordered to keep it herself! In this book Claire is faced with a responsibilities Amelie has given her which is dangerous, scary work even for Claire. Keeping secrets from her friends is hard but with the threat from Amelie, she really has no other choice. Read it yourself to find out more. "

" Okay the third book picks up right where the last book left off. We get a few new characters in this book and that is good to add depth to the story. Not sure how Claire is suppose to be supper intelligent when she keeps doing stupid thing But I guess it is just the story line. The narration is really great love the reader. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book. "
