Publisher Description

Without the evil vampire Bishop ruling over the town of Morganville, the resident vampires have made major concessions to the human population. With their newfound freedoms, Claire Danvers and her friends are almost starting to feel comfortable again.

Now Claire can actually concentrate on her studies, and her friend Eve joins the local theater company. But when one of Eve's castmates goes missing after starting work on a short documentary, Eve suspects the worst. Claire and Eve soon realize that this film project, whose subject is the vampires themselves, is a whole lot bigger—and way more dangerous—than anyone suspected.

"Okay this book was great! I loved how we got a new character in this one and how she mixed up a lot of trouble for just one person. How I thought she was just wanting to wiggle her way in but she had a agenda of her own. Then at the end everyone had to pull together to help her even though she did not deserve it. The twist at the end was great I did not see that coming at all. Again a great book form Rachel Caine. Still moving on to the next book "

" Liked it. Gosh, Kim was a real bitch. I don't think I've ever hated a character so much, plus, she made a pretty huge mess in Morganville. And poor old Ada :( I kind of liked her craziness. "

" Just like with the other books I loved it. Don't think I will ever get enough of Morganville vampires, or Shane ;) But lets be honest here, Myrnin is definitely my second favorite character. His craziness makes it hard not to love him. "

" I enjoyed this one, although it was not my favorite. It had very interesting twists and turn throughout. I hated Kim, I thaught she did things that are just wrong not to mention immoral. It did add some drama to the story. I am looking forward to continuing the series. "

" I'd give this 3.5. I'm still enjoying this series, but this book was probably one of my least favorite. I do love Myrnin's wardrobe, though! One question: What was in the velvet box Shane showed Claire at the end of book #6? This was a teaser from the last book that was never answered in Fade Out. "
