After her mother died, vivacious Katey Tyler fled her dull Connecticut town, hoping to meet her relatives in England and find adventure and romance on a grand tour of Europe. She had no idea that her life-changing travels would have both in spades - as well as danger and intrigue - when she catches the eye of ship owner Boyd Anderson and inadvertently stumbles upon a high-stakes kidnapping. When Sir Anthony Malory’s young daughter is abducted from London’s Hyde Park, her kidnapper mistakenly sends the ransom note to the home of Sir Anthony’s brother, James. With James and his wife, Georgina, in the Caribbean, the demands are received by their houseguest – Georgina’s youngest brother, Boyd Anderson. Searching for the girl with Anthony, the notoriously hot-headed American sea captain fully intends to make the foolhardy villain pay. But he hardly expects to find exquisite Katey Tyler, recently a passenger on his ship, at the center of the plot! Little does Katey realize that in having caught the attention of Boyd Anderson - and in meeting up with the Malorys – she’s about to experience more excitement than the typical young lady encounters on a grand tour, and her life will never be dull again. For a multitude of surprises await Katey, from the startling truth about her mother’s early life. . . to the lengths a man will go to win the affections of a lady who has every reason to despise him - but who can’t resist the seductive, impassioned love he has to offer her.

"I wasn't sure I would like this book, but found it was a Malory book and tried it anyway. It is one of my favorite about the Malory Family. It is about a girl named Katey Tyler and how she ends up saving the life of a seven year old named Judy Malory. Judy is the daughter of Anthony and Roslyn Malory. The book is also about Boyd Anderson who falls in love with Katey, but through strange twists in the story finds she is not interested in a relationship with him. The story is fast moving and around every corner are surprises. I hated for it to end."

" Here come the Mallorys....and the Andersons. This is Boyd's story and there are many twists and turns in this story of an American Katey Tyler who is out to see the world and have adventures and starts her voyage on Boyd's ship. Once in England she rescues Sir Antony Mallory's daughter Judith from kidnappers and meets up with Boyd once again. Unfortunately, Boyd believes that she is the kidnapper. "
— Marian, 2/7/2014" I love the Malory Family stories! "
— Laureen, 12/8/2013" I really enjoyed this book. It was funny as most of the Malory novels and this one did not disappoint in that area. I do however have two grievances with it which keep me from giving it 4 stars: 1) The lovemaking was literally maybe about a page and left something to be desired. With there not being much description or information of a crucial point of the book, the emotions that were involved in the moment had less of an impact on me as a reader. As for the other; 2) I felt that there was a little too much of the cat and mouse game going on between the couple. There was more than one moment when I was questioning whether Katey actually felt anything more for Boyd than attraction. Boyd left me with no doubt, although he didn't say anything(of course!). Other than those tid bits that, I admit got to me, I really liked this book and can't wait for another Malory novel! "
— Samantha, 11/18/2013" I like Linsey's old writing style much better. it seemed to me that this book didn't have the passion, humor, or danger that previous Mallory novels had. It felt like I was reading a book written to satisfy a publisher and not to entertain the reader. "
— Janelle, 10/30/2013" It's console, so Boyd Anderson kind of story.. :D "

— Pamela(AllHoney), 7/26/2013" The synopsis tells the story well, this is another enjoyable book in the Malory series. I have really enjoyed this series and in this book we get to meet with James and Anthony quite a bit - I probably love them the most along with Jeremy, James' son. "

— Danielle, 6/13/2013" While I always enjoy a Malory novel, I thought the plot was not as developed as it could be between Katey and Boyd. I enjoyed the subplots and the interactions with other members of the Malory family. Not as good as other Malory novels have been. "
— Kathalena, 10/28/2012" I got bored with this book. "
