Then he haunts the police with cryptic riddles about the crimes he is about to commit - always solved moments too late to save the victims' lives. Police lieutenant Eve Dallas found the first victim butchered in his own home. The second lost his life in a vacant luxury apartment. The two men had little in common. " This one was much better than the last one. I really enjoyed that we got to see another side of Summerset. I think my favorite character is Peabody though. I think Eve should go on a vacation for a book and we should spend more time with her... McNab was funny and added a different dynamic to their group I think. I hope he shows up again even though Feeney is back. This was a pretty intense one and was hard to put down. I'll have to see what else is in store for our detective. "

" I think I might be burning out on this series. Time to slow down, I guess. This one just seemed like more of the same old same old. "

" This was a fun mystery which allowed us to learn a lot about Roarke & Summerset's background. Action packed, poor Eve manages to get injured a lot this time, but of course we know there are still like two dozen more books to come! LOL "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Photojim | 10/16/2013

" Book six of the 'In Death' series. Not my favorite, but I'll be reading the next as soon as I can fit it in. I love Eve and Roarke. Peabody is still the best for one liners. And yes, everything is great in this one as well. "

" Excellent series. She's the woman cop who's tough, sensual, funny, loving. Living a wonderful life with the perfect rich, good looking all around husband. "

" another great read! I loved how Summerset started coming around at the end but Eve still won't let him in! Should be interesting to see this relationship develop and McNabb sounds like a fun new character too! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Lulu Qurratu | 6/26/2012

" Bagi yang mengikuti perjalanan Eve Dallas dan Roarke bakal rugi banget kalo ga baca buku ini. Keren! Masa lalunya Roarke terungkap dan finally Summerset bisa baik juga ke Eve. Wew. "

" I really liked this one and I did not see the ending coming at all. I expected Eve and Roarke to fight a lot more than they did considering all that they went through. I found Eve kind of annoying in parts, which is strange, but by the end I was enjoying her character again. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Melodie | 6/19/2011

" This is the best in this, so far. I liked getting a bit of a look at Roarke's past. He's the best part about these books anyway. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Katri | 1/27/2011

" She has fed my Law & Order kind of hunger, but I am getting rather bored with the characters. They seem very stuck. What's more, the stories are also lacking innovation now. Even the stereotype of Ireland wasn't funny or entertaining "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Sheila | 1/18/2011

" Roarke and Eve travel to Dublin in pursuit of a serial killer than implicates Roarke and Sommerset. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Nikki | 1/12/2011

" This and the other In Death books read like an edge of your seat crime movie, and luckily there are many of them to enjoy. I was not able to figure out the culprit until just before Dallas did, so a job well done by Robb. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Carla | 1/8/2011

" To read an "in Death"... is to love the characters. Its best to start from the begining and grow with them. You actually start to think of them as friends. Roberts is by far the best writer of this century. Keep them coming. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Connie | 12/17/2010

" All her in Death books are really good. "
