"This one was much better than the last one. I really enjoyed that we got to see another side of Summerset. I think my favorite character is Peabody though. I think Eve should go on a vacation for a book and we should spend more time with her... McNab was funny and added a different dynamic to their group I think. I hope he shows up again even though Feeney is back. This was a pretty intense one and was hard to put down. I'll have to see what else is in store for our detective."

" This book is very annoying to listen to. The character Peabody is annoying making you feel like throwing the book at something. It’s one thing having the bad guy making you feel uptight but listening to Peabody being manipulative and bludging is not good. Maybe kill her off with her greed. "
— Bea, 12/6/2022" Just another little tidbit of the past...from Roark's past that is. "
— Terry, 5/24/2017" this book was particularly interesting to me because i learned alot about roarke's past and about summerset too "
— Kitsunetanuki, 2/8/2014" Still enjoying these for the most part, but they are getting a little formulaic... Will continue to read. "
— Xandretta, 2/6/2014" Great read! I love this guys! "
— Gina, 2/4/2014" I think I might be burning out on this series. Time to slow down, I guess. This one just seemed like more of the same old same old. "
— Becky, 1/21/2014" I really enjoyed the audio version! "
— Sandy, 1/14/2014" This was a fun mystery which allowed us to learn a lot about Roarke & Summerset's background. Action packed, poor Eve manages to get injured a lot this time, but of course we know there are still like two dozen more books to come! LOL "
— Maribeth, 12/6/2013" Book six of the 'In Death' series. Not my favorite, but I'll be reading the next as soon as I can fit it in. I love Eve and Roarke. Peabody is still the best for one liners. And yes, everything is great in this one as well. "
— Photojim, 10/16/2013" Excellent series. She's the woman cop who's tough, sensual, funny, loving. Living a wonderful life with the perfect rich, good looking all around husband. "
— Linda, 5/1/2013" another great read! I loved how Summerset started coming around at the end but Eve still won't let him in! Should be interesting to see this relationship develop and McNabb sounds like a fun new character too! "
Wew. "
— Lulu, 6/26/2012" I really liked this one and I did not see the ending coming at all. I expected Eve and Roarke to fight a lot more than they did considering all that they went through. I found Eve kind of annoying in parts, which is strange, but by the end I was enjoying her character again. "
— Shae, 2/16/2012" This is the best in this, so far. I liked getting a bit of a look at Roarke's past. He's the best part about these books anyway. "
— Melodie, 6/19/2011" This is one good book "
— Angela, 6/5/2011" I'm not good with formal reviews. Basically it was fine for reading to be distracted with. The end angered me a bit.

[spoilers removed] "
— Brianne, 4/2/2011" Cuantas más novelas leo de esta pareja, más me gustan! Roarke OMG!! "
— Beatrizz1983, 3/24/2011" This book is amazing, as is all of her books, but I loved this one almost more than the others. Eve Dallas just will never give up on a murder case. "
— Kyleah, 2/21/2011" She has fed my Law & Order kind of hunger, but I am getting rather bored with the characters. They seem very stuck. What's more, the stories are also lacking innovation now. Even the stereotype of Ireland wasn't funny or entertaining "
— Katri, 1/27/2011" Roarke and Eve travel to Dublin in pursuit of a serial killer than implicates Roarke and Sommerset. "
— Sheila, 1/18/2011" This and the other In Death books read like an edge of your seat crime movie, and luckily there are many of them to enjoy. I was not able to figure out the culprit until just before Dallas did, so a job well done by Robb. "
— Nikki, 1/12/2011" To read an "in Death"... is to love the characters. Its best to start from the begining and grow with them. You actually start to think of them as friends. Roberts is by far the best writer of this century. Keep them coming. "
— Carla, 1/8/2011" All her in Death books are really good. "
