" Johanna Parker is by far one of my favorite narrators. However I was SO annoyed at the change of pronunciation of Elena's name! I've listened to all the audiobooks for the series and to hear a different pronunciation of a main character's name over and over interfered with a pleasurable listening experience. Other than that, the mini stories were entertaining and the narration was good. "

About the Author
Author Kelley Armstrong

Kelley Armstrong has been telling stories since before she could write. Her earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers’ dismay. All efforts to make her produce “normal” stories failed. Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts, demons, and werewolves, while safely locked away in her basement writing dungeon. She is the author of the Darkest Powers young adult urban fantasy trilogy, the Women of the Otherworld paranormal suspense series, and the Nadia Stafford crime series. She lives in southwestern Ontario, Canada, with her husband, kids, and far too many pets.

About the Narrators

Johanna Parker is an Audie and Earphone Award–winning actress living and working in San Francisco. Since narrating her first audiobook in 2002, she has received praise for her work in all genres, including her portrayal of Sookie Stackhouse in Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire books. She received her BFA in acting from Boston University and studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She has performed on stages in London, Los Angeles, Seattle, and New York and has numerous film and television credits. As a voice-over actress, she has voiced commercials, video games, documentaries, and websites.

Saskia Maarleveld is an experienced voice-over actress, audiobook narrator, and three-time winner of the AudioFile Earphones Award. Raised in New Zealand and France, she is highly skilled with accents and dialects, and many of her books have been narrated entirely in accents other than her own. In addition to audiobooks, her voice can be heard in animation, video games, and commercials.

Brian Hutchinson is a stage, film, and television actor. He has appeared in several Broadway and off-Broadway plays, and his acting credits include the films Vino Veritas, Love and Other Drugs, and Sudden Death. He lives in New York City.

Tim Gerard Reynolds is an established audiobook narrator who has won six AudioFile Earphones Awards and was a finalist for the prestigious Audie Award for Best Fantasy Narration. He trained for the stage at the Samuel Beckett Center at Trinity College in Dublin and the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center in New London, Connecticut.
