"A fast paced, paranormal story with lots of action and an intriguing mystery. I was riveted from the first few pages till the end. Treachery is discovered in one of Risa's friends. Lots of twist and turns, Risa once again is fighting for her life. Excellent addition to Keri Arthur's Dark Angels Series."

" Pretty good, just want Risa and Azriel to hook up already. And i am ready for more key action "
— Jill, 2/20/2014" 3.75/4 Rosa was a bit too whiny for me this time around. "
— Raquel, 2/19/2014" When this series started, it had us all fired up for this hunt for the keys to the gates of heaven/hell/death/whatever. Since then, that BIG HUNT seems to have been relegated to a plot device that allows Risa to be tortured at will and that gives the main characters fodder to endlessly snipe at each other, without Ever. Actually. Doing. ANYTHING. In the meantime, Risa gets sent off on some random mystery of the week that does absolutely nothing to advance the supposed real story. At this point, I have no idea what this series is supposed to be, but if it's really intended to be a MOW, them dump the black oil and let Mulder and Scully move on with their lives, already. "
— Stacy, 2/14/2014" I'm not entirely sure if it's just me but Risa was so freaking infuriating in this book. There's a difference between being stubborn and stupid and Risa, unfortunately, was clearly the latter of the two. On top of that, the entire book felt pointless. It was a filler and if it wasn't for the fact that the Lucian thread was finally closed, no progress was made in the relationship front. I had no interest in the case Risa was involved in and found myself getting progressively more annoyed each time Risa whined about not being able to be with Azriel even after he explained it would be detrimental to not only her life and their quest, but also to the fate of both of their worlds. Azriel finally agreed to have sex with her again at the end of the book but upon reading the excerpt for the next book, it became clear that the HEA I've been not so patiently waiting for is nowhere close seeing as how Risa was still whining about their relationship status. What started as an amazing series with intriguing characters and fantastic world building has become a drag. I hope Ms. Arthur decides to throw us a bone by just getting the rest of the damn keys ASAP then adding another major arc because the formula right now (daddy dearest mails her a clue. Wait one or two books for Risa to figure out the clue and find the key) is getting tiresome. Story: Murderer on the astral plane. Risa is the only one who can stop him. "
— Amy, 1/24/2014" Fantastic new installment in this awesome series. Bring on the next... "
— Frances, 1/24/2014" Loved it! Azriel and Risa, yes!!!! "
— Jeannie, 1/20/2014" Fantastic read!! Yet again Keri Arthur captivates the reader from the beginning. Constant action, never boring. You fall even more in love with Risa and Azriel! "
— Kelly, 1/18/2014" I found the story long and repetitive. 2 to 3 books later and still no story about the key or the reason for her mother s death. I felt lacked in mystery. "
— Sam, 1/15/2014" Azriel =yummy "
— Lynda, 12/9/2013" Thank you! This was a great addition to Risa's story... "
— Karen, 12/5/2013" I love this series and this author. She can do no wrong! "
— Lisa, 11/30/2013" All I can say is...COME ON JUNE 4TH!!! I NEED THE NEXT BOOK...DARKNESS UNMASKED!!!! "
— Taylor, 11/28/2013" Taking away a star due to the ending being so abrupt. "
— Kay, 11/2/2013" I love this series.I can't wait until her 5th book comes out in June! "
— Renee, 10/4/2013" did wrong thing "
— Rachel, 8/19/2013" I didn't like this one as much as the last book, but my reading of it was choppy so perhaps I might have liked it better had I been able to read it all at once? Still, it was a good story and there were a couple much-needed (and much-anticipated) resolutions with Lucian and Azriel! "
— Judy, 8/11/2013" I love this series but honestly, even though apparently werewolves are horny, Risa bugged me with her sluttiness. Seriously at times I wanted to slap her. If you have been reading the series don't skip this book though. It was okay. "
— Emily, 3/27/2013" First book of the year was a good one! "
— Kegan, 3/27/2013" Keri Arthur is one of my favorite story tellers! Her Urban Fantasy series are winners in my book. Thank the goddess that Lucian's true colors finally came to the forefront. "
— Johanna, 3/3/2013" Yes finally she's got lucian out of the picture for the moment! didnt like him all that much. but need more progress with Aziel! "
— Sylwia, 2/11/2013" Although this is not one of my favorite series, Risa's story is interesting enough to keep me reading, and unique enough to not be boring. "
