In the darkness, demons come out to play...
...and someone must bring their sins to light.
Part vampire, part werewolf, Riley Jenson knows what can happen when vamps don't play well with others. But she's never seen anything like this: a series of brutal murders surrounding the latest hot spot for vampire-human hookups—and the victims aren't just killed, they're beheaded. Now Riley is launching into action, toying with a seductive—and highly suspicious—club owner, and finding herself in the middle of another mystery: women being killed one by one without a trace of violence.
For Riley, solving multiple cases—in a world going mad with human and vampire passions—would have been tough enough. Instead, she has two jealous lovers on her hands: Kye Murphy, the amber-eyed werewolf who makes Riley's wolf blood howl—and Quinn, the cool, elegant vamp who has over a thousand years' experience at fulfilling women's desires. While she's busy juggling these two sexy beasts, Riley's detective work takes a stunningly violent turn. Finding a murderer is now a matter of life and death. Especially since the killer has long since found her...

"This book in one word was Amazing!!!! I love Keri Arthur and the way she pulls out all the stops. In this book she not only made Kye her soulmate she also had him fighting to have Riley for himself. Kye was the most unlikely soulmate but it made for one of the most exciting read of this series. "
— Jessica (5 out of 5 stars)
“Keri Arthur’s imagination and energy infuse everything she writes with zest.”
— Charlaine Harris" Very, very sad ending for Rylie in this book! "
— Stefanie, 5/4/2011" So, Riley thrown into another case, this time she might loose her head. ^_- "
— Cheyenne, 4/26/2011" I was very impressed by how Ms. Arthur dealt with the character of Kye. No punches pulled! "
— Mary, 4/9/2011" I enjoyed this book but it was just to sad for my tastes. "
— Caitlin, 3/12/2011" This by far was one of the best in the series. I was saddened at the loss of one of my favorite characters and a bit surprised with the ending. Makes me wonder where it will all go from here? "
— Lyn, 2/28/2011" The series has been building up to this for a while, so it was no surprise when a new character and a plot twist appeared. I just wish that the book had more action, there was too much dramatic tension and reaching the end was more of a relief than a pleasure. "
— Anne, 2/11/2011" Have the tissues ready at the end. "
— Kit, 2/5/2011" OMG this book was very very intense!!!
The whole time I was reading this book all I could keep saying to myself was how much I hate KYE!!!!
This series always leaves me wanting more!!! Staring the next book now:) "
— Krista, 1/20/2011" This book was a tide of emotions and the ending topped all of Keri Arthur's title in the Riley Jenson series. This is not to be missed if you are a fan. "
— Wendi, 1/14/2011" Rachel Singer Gordon said this would be kind of like a Sookie book, but it didn't have any of the stuff I was looking for, sadly. Despite some awesome b-film/porn-ish-type passages that are at once trashy and oddly surreal, I'm afraid I'll have to pass on the rest of Riley Jensen's adventures. "
— Alys, 12/25/2010" Only one to go - oh no what will I do then! "
— Keren, 12/7/2010" I really like this series of books. "
— Nicole, 12/6/2010" not sure why I'm still plugging away at this series. It keeps me just interested enough to keep going. I like this one better than the last few. only one left! "
