In this exciting debut, author Keri Arthur explodes onto the supernatural scene with a sexy, sensuous tale of intrigue and suspense set in a world where legends walk and the shady paths of the underworld are far more sinister than anyone envisioned. A rare hybrid of vampire and werewolf, Riley Jenson and her twin brother, Rhoan, work for Melbourne’s Directorate of Other Races, an organization created to police the supernatural races–and protect humans from their depredations. While Rhoan is an exalted guardian, a.k.a. assassin, Riley is merely an office worker–until her brother goes missing on one of his missions. The timing couldn’t be worse. More werewolf than vampire, Riley is vulnerable to the moon heat, the weeklong period before the full moon, when her need to mate becomes all-consuming.… Luckily Riley has two willing partners to satisfy her every need. But she will have to control her urges if she’s going to find her brother….Easier said than done as the city pulses with frenzied desire, and Riley is confronted with a very powerful–and delectably naked–vamp who raises her temperature like never before. In matters carnal, Riley has met her match. But in matters criminal, she must follow her instincts not only to find her brother but to stop an unholy harvest. For someone is doing some shifty cloning in an attempt to produce the ultimate warrior–by tapping into the genome of nonhumans like Rhoan. Now Riley knows just how dangerous the world is for her kind–and just how much it needs her.

"If you enjoy paranormal books with vampires/werewolves/etc... that has mystery and romance (along with lots of sex) then you will like this series of books.Full Moon Rising, drew me right in and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. And I was that way until I read all 9 books. "

" If given the option I would have rated this book a 3.5. The underlying story is great. However, some of (if not all) the sex scenes in this book are way over the top. Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way, shape or form a prude or uncomfortable with sexuality. It's just that sometimes the timing is highly inappropriate and doesn't make sense. I totally get why Riley's needs are so intense I just couldn't wrap my head around some of the scenarios were her 'need' is taken care of. It's still a good read if you don't mind the gratuitous sex. "
— Jen, 2/19/2014" Love the Riley Jenson series. I'd recommend them to anyone who enjoys vampire/werewolf stories. "
— John, 2/17/2014" Wow. Main character is a big ol slut. Maybe if the author spent more time on the story and plot and less on character's sex life everything would have made more sense. "
— Mary, 2/13/2014" great book for a new series... "
— Lili, 1/18/2014" I loved this book so much i couldnt put it down once i started to read it. I cant wait to see how everything ends and whether or not Riley and Quinn get together. And what exactly does Misha what from or with Riley. "
— Stephanie, 1/13/2014" Riley is not interesting enough to be the main character in a 1st person narrative. Also, vampires shouldn't be able to stay out in the day without any consequences, IMHO. "
— Whitney, 1/11/2014" interesting premise, but writing just didn't pull together as much as I would have liked. Will try second in series to see if is better. "
— Kiara, 1/11/2014" This series is about werewolves. (I know...I am weird!) Very steamy. If you read it next to the pool with others around, you will blush! "

— Robyn, 12/20/2013" Good book, well written. Just not for me. I'm just not really into paranormal fantasy, but if you are then you'd probably enjoy this. Lots of steamy sex! "

— Courtney, 6/4/2011" I enjoyed this book, it has a nice fresh take on where wolves and i love her strong female character. Ladies are so easily portrayed as weak and docile. There is a good mix of wolf vs vampire action to keep you interested. "
— Marlene, 5/19/2011" I really liked this book and the characters it's definitly action packed and full of sex to the fullest degree must be nice to be so free with it. Quinn and Riley have to make it work they are the perfect couple!! Loved it can't wait for the next one Kissing Sin!! "

— Faye, 4/24/2011" This was a little much for me. The story was really good but all of the sex was to much. I'm sure I'll read the rest of the series to see if Quinn comes back arouund and if they ever get to the bottom of the clones but it isn't on high priority for me. "
