"Well, this series has been interesting. Only one book left and I can't wait to start it tonight. I think this ight have been the best book in the series so far. Maybe I'm biased, I really want a Trent/Rachael hook up. It's funny because as I read the books, I keep thinking that Trent will actually improve and he doesn't.Maybe I've just come except this now from him and not surprised when he does something evil to Rachael. Now Rachael's love life isn't honed to just Trent(Rachael won't admit). She has Pierce. This story isn't finished by any means but I'm still stumped for it. Although we know what he was and his past lifes, we still don't really have a feel for why he's really there. I believe Jenks, when he told Rachael to stay away from him. Jenks hasn't been wrong about the men in her life. Now Jenk's storyline made me cry. We've been expecting the death of his wive for the last few books but it was downright depressing. I love Jenk's as a character and I love that Rachael went small to help him with his grief. I'm more curious about his life now, then most of the characters.Quen and Ceri are still a mystery to me.I really have to wonder if Ceri was lying as she confessed to being a spy for her. As for Nick, I don't think I was that surprised except for Trent's being there. On to the next book..."

“Bewitching…This thrill ride celebrates the can-do spirit of one of urban fantasy’s most charming witches.”
— Publishers Weekly“Marguerite Gavin perfectly delivers Rachel’s wry tones as she is kidnapped and imprisoned on Alcatraz, awaiting a lobotomy without a fair trial. Rachel’s sardonic tones are entertainingly offset by those of a gravelly sounding gargoyle, a sultry living vampire, lighter-toned pixies, and a demon with an English accent…Gavin provides an enthralling narration for Harrison’s popular series.”
— AudioFile“Entertaining and likable…Hardcore fans will find much to love.”
— RT Book Reviews" Harrison, in my opinion, continues to be a compelling author despite this being the eighth book in the Rachel Morgan series. Nick is back, which adds some fun, and there's some movement with the Jenks/Matalina side-story. The love interest isn't overly done, which I like, too. "
