And, why wouldn't Lucan go out on a dangerous mission as he's the leader of the Order? So stupid. Plus, if his "breedmate" is able to find evil lairs why wasn't she out on the mission? All so stupid. AND why does the vampire ALWAYS gets the girl? AND why is everyone beautiful & perfect - unless they get into a fire storm? Plus - for vampires who never had sex in their time would know EXACTLY what to do? Plenty of time to read about it over the centuries? Why is this series dragged out until the reader gets cranky? Geez. "

" This was a truly awesome book. When you think you know how its going to go based on the way the story was going, it totally sends you off on another path. Reichen goes through so much and in the end he manages to overcome his most serious weakness and make it into a strength. So many hard choices to make and trying to survive a lifestyle like that; its serious and amazing. "

" I loved this series. If you are looking for books along the lines of J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood, then this is it. There are a few small similarities, but are enough differences that makes it stand on it's own. I would definitely recommend reading. "
