"I'm gonna start this review the same way I've started all of my reviews of J.R. Ward's previous books: I LOVED IT! Love love love. This book was great. Wonderful twist at the ending too. Way to keep things fresh! On to the next one :)"

" This book was a whole lotta long drawn out nothing. Not much action. Not much to the plot. Not much of anything. There were a few funnies, most of them courtesy of my favorite character Butch. I'm glad that V finally got his head on straight but I think that could have been done in his book rather than this one. I also felt like there were too many things left unresolved at the end. V and his female discussed getting mated officially but they didn't. The whole story line with Xcor and his band of bastards has been left open ended. The part about the detective and his now murdered murderer has been left unresolved. All in all it was a slow read and definitely my least favorite of the series. I have much higher hopes for the next one. "
— Crystal, 2/19/2014" I am a Vishous fan, so I am a bit partial. However, not many Lessers in this one, which was fine with me, guess they are building up someplace. "
— Rebecca, 1/24/2014" Excellant book about Payne "V" sister but you get alot more on "V" alot more... "
— Deana, 1/15/2014" Payne- her story or lack of her story, mostly pertained to V and Jane. Would have liked more of Payne, V had his book -which in this book, would have answered a lot of questions the first time around. "
— Keli, 1/10/2014" And even their sister is able to make the reader want more. This is by far the first series I've read that had me wishing for an endless string of books to come. "
— Lucy, 12/29/2013" This one was just as amazing as the rest. I really want to know what is in store for Layla. These capture you will the story line, which is what it is all about. "

— Shana, 7/2/2013" Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. Screw it. I'm skipping the next one, these books aren't worth it anymore. I just want to read how she's screwed up Qhuinn and Blay's relationship in Lover at Last and put this entire series behind me. "
— Jess, 5/20/2013" Was Not my favorite of the series but still good! "

— April, 5/23/2011" Very into the story, nearing the end. I enjoyed this book, and liking the direction it is headed and interested in the new characters...Xcor is going to be an power character...hopefully he is a good guy. "
— Sherry, 5/23/2011" Very boring. no action hardly at all. I love this series but was so disappointed with this one. It was almost like someone else wrote it. Not her usual work at all. But still love her. :D "
— Melissa, 5/20/2011" I think this was my favorite BDB yet!! "
— Marguerite, 5/18/2011" Can we be left on any more cliff's and NOT plumit to the rocky shore below? The wait for the next book might just kill me! "

— Vicki, 5/17/2011" Qhuinn broke my heart in this book. ( Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! )

I just don't know how much longer I can wait for their HEA. "
— Lily, 5/15/2011" Not as good as the previous one, this one didn't have enough action and drama, it was just too "easy". "
— Dalis, 5/14/2011" Amazing... so many things answered. Can't believe how much the brotherhood and their mates have grown. "
