Publisher Description

Stunning, stubborn, and independent, Philadelphia Fox lost her best friend because of the fabulously rich and powerful Lightfoot family of Washington state. Now she's got her friend's controlling shares in Lightfoot Industries - an inheritance that brings Nick, the family's prodigal and supremely attractive son, knocking at her door. An unexpected and irrepressible spark between them blazes into extraordinary passion, and Phila - historically unlucky in love - finds the deepest satisfaction she has ever known. But behind Nick's gray eyes lurks a disturbing enigma…and Phila must make the choice of her life. Trusting Nick may come with quite a price - but giving in to his strong, sensual seduction is a golden chance that may never come again.

" Read this book some time ago (the first I ever read of Jayne Ann Krentz) and decided to listen to it this time. The story was as good as I remembered it and the dual narration made it come alive. Would not hesitate to recommend this. "

" I did not realize this book was written in 1990, felt that it was pretty current. I was listening to this one and it took me a little while to get used to the two voices reading the book. I found it very enjoyable and wanting to drive a little longer so that I could listen to it. "

" I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me at the end. I still didn't like the ending either. i thought it was horrible of the family to think that the man did something that like to Hilary. that made me mad, other than that, it was a pretty good story. "
