Silver Master is the fifth novel in Jayne Castle's futuristic Ghost Hunter series. It is a romantic-suspense with a strong paranormal twist set on the planet Harmony.
Professional matchmaker Celinda Ingram is a psychically gifted woman with a problem. She is in desperate need of a bodyguard who can double as a date for her sister's wedding. Davis Oakes, a member of the mysterious Ghost Hunter's Guild, is a security expert with a most unusual paranormal talent. But Davis doesn't trust matchmakers and Celinda doesn't trust anyone connected to the Guild. Sparks fly immediately. Danger is closing in fast, however, and this pair has no choice but to work together to survive.

"Loved it! Back on Harmony, in Cadence City, matchmaker (Celinda) meets security specialist (Davis). He's looking for a missing item for a client. She has the item which she bought in a junk store as a toy. As she's handing it over, her dust bunny grabs it and runs. Now, Davis will stay around until the bunny comes back with the item."

— colleen, 1/17/2014" Good story.... though it is not something that really makes anyone go head over feet. It's just a book to read with a good story. You wanna finish it as soon as possible, not because it is so good, but to move on to another book. "
— Elias, 1/9/2014" A book that I enjoyed; it's a bit fun, a bit heart-warming, a bit of sexy. But just a bit, nothing amazing. "
— Jessica, 1/2/2014" The Harmony series always features strong male and female protagonists. The setting is a blend of what-if humanity colonized a new planet and then found itself cut off from Earth, along with the changes the new world itself makes in the colonized humans. The marriage ideals of the society are also interesting, given the colonists' predicament of facing the idea of never seeing Earth again. Also DUST BUNNIES FTW! "

— Judy, 11/9/2013" Somehow I'd missed the later books in the series when they first came out. They may be formulaic, but I love the world Castle/Krentz created for New Harmony, and the wonderful dust bunnies take a very active role in the plot of this one. "
