"This was a beautiful book, the story of their lives, their love, was beautiful. After the accident and I realized what the "Choice" was probably going to be, it got me down, I was still reading, but skimming some - not expecting a happy ending. I was thrilled when he didn't honor her wishes as to what his 'choice' was, and wonderfully surprised at the ending - WOW, IF he HAD honored her wishes!!! Beautiful - thank God that his love for her was so strong that he couldn't bear to honor her wishes, would've been a totally different ending on so many different levels."

“A tender and moving love story and a quick read, Sparks’ latest does not disappoint.”
— Publishers Weekly“Holter Graham gives a polished performance with his versatile skills and vocal range…A compelling story.”
— AudioFile“Sparks is a master at creating beautiful, old-fashioned courtships coupled with bittersweet dilemmas, and this is no exception, as it pulls the reader into the story just as The Notebook did. Once again, Sparks presents a complex and captivating contemporary romance that will satisfy his many fans.”
— Booklist“Reading in a low-key southern accent, Graham excellently interprets this riveting romance, sensitively and responsively adapting his tones to reflect Parker’s struggle to do the right thing. His apt pacing and emotion-laden reading make the protagonist’s deepening angst most palpable. Appropriate music bracketing each disc helps to deepen and enhance the tension. Sparks’ fans will be pleased.”
— Booklist (audio review)“Another masterfully nuanced relationship novel from Nicholas Sparks.”
— Barnes & Noble, editorial reviewA tender and moving love story.
— Publishers WeeklyProvides subtle lessons in love and hope . . . reinforces the theory that all choices, no matter how seemingly unimportant . . . often have far-reaching, rippling effects. Sparks has become a favorite storyteller because of his ability to take ordinary people, put them in extraordinary situations, and create unexpected outcomes.
— BookReporter.comA heartrending love story . . . will have you entranced. And if The Notebook left you teary-eyed, his latest will have the same effect.
— Myrtle Beach Sun News" cheesy but heartwrenching nonetheless. "
— Marissa, 2/20/2014" What a great choice! "
— Marynelson321, 2/16/2014" I loved the first half of the book. The second half of the book I bawled my eyes out, and I didn't really like it, it was really depressing. Of course the story ends on a good note, but it lost a star from me because it was so depressing. "
— Agnes, 2/10/2014" Made me cry :) "
— Kamal, 2/6/2014" In my opinion, this novel was very confusing in the middle and it is more for older adults. In addition, this books plot was very confusing and it did not really have cliff hangers. I found part one not as interesting as part 2. Part one was more of a flashback and then part two was the main story. I would recommend this story for people who love reading romantic stories. The genre is most definitely romance. "
— Tamanna, 2/6/2014" einfach nur ein super tolles buch ich liebe es =) "
