The circle's power has lured her home

Forced to move from sunny California to gloomy New England, Cassie longs for her old life. Even so, she feels a strange kinship to a terrifying group of teens who seem to rule her school. Initiated into the coven of witches that's controlled New Salem for hundreds of years, she's drawn into the Secret Circle, a thrill that's both intoxicating and deadly. But when she falls for the mysterious and intriguing Adam, Cassie must choose whether to resist temptation or risk dark forces to get what she wants—even if it means that one wrong move could ultimately destroy her.

" This book is about a young girl who discovers she is a witch and is not the only witch in the town. I did not like ths book very much. It may be fun for students to read around Halloween but I found it to be not very excting. Not much happens and when it does it predictable. "

" I've been watching the tv show, so I figured I should probably read the source material. I really enjoyed these books. The plot was very slow-moving in the first book, but it definitely picked up in the second. Overall, it was a decent, fun read and I can't wait to finish up the series. "

" I really liked this book - possibly even more so than the Vampire Diaries books (and I love them). I got sucked into Cassie's world and can't wait to find out what happens next. There's a lot of mystery and strange things happening so I'm very excited to find out why. "

    " Modern witches!!!

A good story but the part I is too short.. I hope this story focused on the witches part than on the love story of Cassie and Adam.. I don't like their love story. "
