"I loved this book! I have always loved the quirky relationship between Eve and Peabody but in Festive, it really showcased how much they depend on each other to solve the tough cases. Eve really lets her jump in with both feet. And I'm totally in love with Roarke! How impressive is it that even though he is King of the world, he allows Eve to be herself and not defer to him in anyway. How cool is that?! This was an excellent quick read with familiar characters that are growing and evolving. JD Robb did a good job with the backstories in this book. It lends depth and texture to the story. I really like the interaction between Peabody and McNabb but what about adding a couple in this circle that does not get along in the same way and have mutual respect? That would be a great way to see a compare and contrast. Regardless, I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in the series!"
