" It might well be the best of the Iris Johansen books that I've read so far, and believe me, if you like courage, determination, self-preservation, confidence, beauty and grace all in one heroine... go look for Johansen's JANE MAC'GUIRE!!! "

" I've ended up listening to this series backwards, starting with book 9 and working my way back. I was surprised to find that the Trevor character seems like a different person in this book. I suppose that this character has developed in later books but, I was confused for a good portion of the book. I suppose this is what happens when you read a series backwards. "

" I was disappointed in the last Johansen book, but wasn't disappointed in this one. An Eve Duncan-tale but her and Joe take a back seat to their adopted, college daughter, Jane. Fast-paced, sometimes "Indiana Jonesy" but with enough twists and turns in the plot to keep me interested!
