"This was another enjoyable book from Lisa Jackson. I read so much that it's hard to come across plots that haven't been done before, but she was successful. There was even a bit of a twist at the end that I didn't see coming. I know I've read previous Jackson novels featuring the detectives from this book, but it's been so long that I've forgotten a lot of the backstory. Probably the one thing that took away from the book."

" Another great thriller. "
— Vicky, 2/5/2014" Another serial murder is on the loose in Montana and further afield. This time, he's targeting women who have a strong resemblance to the local MD. At first, she just thinks she has one of those kinds of faces, but as the look-alike bodies start piling up, she and the police start digging into what's going on. The women are all apparent victims of accidents, but as the story unfolds, we see just how careful and crazed the killer is. "
— Sara, 2/2/2014" Born to Die is a spine-tingling story about women who look enough alike to be twins or at least sisters and are being reported as accidental deaths. Alvarez and Pescoli are suspicious and start investigating these questionable "accidents." What they discover is pretty scary and keeps one glued to the open book. Good story! "
— Rose, 1/30/2014" The story was moving along really well then at the end stuff was pulled out of a hat. "
— Gayenell, 1/26/2014" Good story. A bit long, but that could be that the narrator of the book was just awful and boring. I do love this author and will continue to read/listen to her books. "
— Kmmoy, 12/29/2013" The continuation of characters in previous books in this series is welcome, human and credible. The premise begins plausibly but begins to stretch thinner and thinner as more murders occur. This was an enjoyable read up to an unbelievable encounter with a powerful family council, followed by a hurried conclusion. You know when the author writes himself or herself into a corner and has to tie everything up neatly in the last few pages with a narrative or some character doing all the explaining? Alas, that's what happens here, including an taped-on whirlwind romance. I wish I could have liked this one more. "
— Michelle, 12/26/2013" I didn't want to put the book down! Loved it! "

— Narielle, 4/22/2013" I have read and loved many Lisa Jackson books. I was disappointed that, "Born to Die," had such a far-fetched plot. It was way past being ridiculous. I kept reading to find out what would happend, but this book is not up to par with Jackson's other books. "

— Nitasha, 6/18/2012" The third in this series by Lisa Jackson. A serial killer is going round killing women who have strong resemblances to each other. Detectives Alvarez and Pescoli have to figure out what their connection is and why they are targets. The story is gripping and tense. "
— David, 4/29/2012" a good suspensful read "
— Theresa, 3/29/2012" I have already invested in this series - but found there was a lot of repitition of character background and again with winter snow and holiday season. The premise - although interesting, very far fetched and not believable. The ending left me with many questions ??? How did she get there??? "
— Betty, 11/8/2011" Interesting idea of a serial killer on the lose and using sthe 'sperm' banks to find the victims of a 'certain' donor. Interesting read. Another 'take to the beach' book. "

— Janis, 9/18/2011" A very exciting mystery, with a twist at the end I did not se, and I've read a lot of mysteries. "
— John, 9/16/2011" GOOD MYSTERY--A WEE BIT OF SUSPENSE-A QUICK ROMANCE- A SOMEWHAT DIFFERENT PLOT--AN UNFORESEEN TWIST<br/>NOT A BAD READ AT ALL!!!!! "
