The next morning, Caitlyn Montgomery Bandeaux wakes covered in blood. But Caitlyn has no memory of the night before, when her estranged husband was brutally murdered like so many others she has known …

After night …

Wanted by the police and haunted by horrifying, fragmented memories, Caitlyn turns to Adam Hunt, the town’s new psychologist. But how far can she really trust him? "I love Lisa Jackson and have read all 7 New Orleans-Montoya/Bentz books. This book is in the Savannah series but actually starts before book 3, "Shiver" - Montoya's story. This book answers the question that rose in "Cold Blooded" as to what happened to Montoya's girlfriend after she disappears. What a sicko the killer turned out to be! I've never seen so many paranoid schizophrenics or so much incest in one book! It took me a little longer to read this one, I think since it was my 8th book by her in row, I'm suffering from a little burn out. However, it truley was a good book. The charecters were strong, the plot and story line were believable, as far as what serial killers are capable of, and I've always enjoyed reading books that repeat charecters. It makes you feel like your part of their lives or something!"
