"This book was definately an awesome read it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! Loreli was raised at Siren Song along with all of her illegitimate sisters,by her Aunt Catherine and her floozy quack of a mother Mary who later vanished thought to be dead. As a child Loreli remembers a strange and frightening little boy named Justice Turnbull who would come visit with his mother Mad Maddie Turnbull. All of the women of the family was rumored to have a psychic gift and Maddie used hers to tell fortunes. Justice grew up with such hatred for his mother and all of the sisters that he turned into a psychotic serial killer and wanted to kill them all. After LOreli's divorce from her Pompous ass husband Byron Loreli finds herself pregnant with his child and with these malicious thoughts from none other than Justice himself. He has escaped the mental hospital were he has been held for the criminally insane since his previous murder spree a few years back. He's out to kill the sisters of siren song especially Loreli because for some strange reason he can smell and track her because she is pregnant. Harrison is a newspaper reporter looking for the big story to get his career back on track since a fallout with his previous employer. He meets Loreli and offers to protect her and track down Justice before he kills everyone she has ever cared about. In the process he falls head over heels in love with her and feels that he has to protect her at all costs. The suspence in this book was amazing, I actually could feel the fear myself when Justice appears the first time to try to kill Loreli. It had an awesome ending and left off to where more can be written on the story. Can't wait to find out what is next. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to be scared!!!"

“Chilling… Swift pacing and an intriguing plot make this a first-rate supernatural thriller.”
— Publishers Weekly, starred review" Definitely a page turner. A family of ladies that continues to grow although few are married and ever leave the home. All with unusual abilities and one brother who is determined to get back in that home and destroy them all. A romance blooming on one side of the story, a haughty ex-husband and some juveniles with too much time on their hands. I loved the twists and turns and the numerous characters! "
— Angie, 2/8/2014" This book was okay. Not one of Jackson's best. "
— Tammy, 2/5/2014" This was an awesome book. Although there were a few slow parts in the plot, once it got going I was hooked. There were several questions answered but left more hanging for any future collaberation. I hope the sisters write a third book with the Colony! "
— Stacy, 2/5/2014" An excellent read dealing with the Siren Song in Deception Bay, OR. It gives you the touch of romance and a lot of mystery. Love it! "
— Angie, 1/31/2014" Overall I thought it was a good book. I got right into it from the beginning, but I found the ending to be a little dull. I guess I was just expecting something more. "
— Tama, 1/28/2014" Quick read, somewhat enjoyable mystery....was in dire need of a new book to read while on vacation and this was all I could find at the beach shop. Not a bad beach book! "
— Debbie, 1/18/2014" Nancy bush writes darker than her sister Lisa Jackson. When they write together it is lighter than Bush and darker than Jackson. "
— Suzy, 1/17/2014" Really good mystery about a psychopath and a murderer who also had a God complex. Good romance and excellent twists and turns. "
— Grace, 1/17/2014" Just a little too "fantasy" for my taste, but still a good story. "
— Joy, 1/17/2014" The plot centers around a cult of women with extra-sensory abilities that live together in a seaside town. All are daughters of one promiscuous woman. Some have left the home, but most have stayed. They have a criminally insane cousin who escapes from a hospital and plans to kill all of his female relatives. A newspaper man falls for one of the women who left the home and is the prime target of the killer. It was an interesting read. "

— Donna, 12/25/2013" I love Lisa Jackson's books, even if they are a bit long and gruesome. There is plenty of action; one is never bored with her stories. In this book, Jackson has teamed up with Nancy Bush to produce a first-rate thriller. "
— Carolyn, 12/16/2013" Does anyone know the name of the next book in the Wicked Series. This is labeled as #2. Anyway, yes, this was a great book! I like the intrigue of the "powers" the Siren Song women have. I would wish these gifts were more powerful if I had them. "
— Teresa, 12/16/2013" Just a little too "fantasy" for my taste, but still a good story. "

— Sara, 12/4/2013" This book was 200 pages too long. Did not explain any part of the story. Way too many unanswered questions. Couldn't wait to be done with it. "
— KT, 12/3/2013" Took ages to read but not because of the book itself. The story was interesting and when I had the time, it was a quick read. "
— Brittany, 10/11/2013" Needed a book that was less serious and more self indulgent . This definitely fit the bill. A little suspense, drama and romance "
— Linda, 10/7/2013" I normally like Jackson's books, but this one was a little too out there. "
— Tina, 8/21/2013" I think this book is a little to long winded...if Jackson had kept it around 250-290 pages it may have been a page turner...very slow reading... "

— Chrystal, 12/18/2012" This was a thrilling book. "
— Marla, 12/4/2012" I am not a ghost story person. I read the first in this series and thought it was ok, this one was better. It had twists and turns and the "ghost" story or mystical component was lesser than the first. IT is a good read, probably even a great read if you love the mystical story! "

— Holly, 8/14/2012" Great thriller, keeps you on the edge! "
