When Sarah McKinley is finally able to buy and restore the historic Florida mansion that she has always loved, she dismisses the horror stories of past residents vanishing and a long-dead housekeeper who practiced black magic. Then, in the midst of renovations, she makes a grim discovery. Hidden within the walls of Sarah’s dream house are the remains of dozens of bodies - some dating back over a century. The door to the past is blown wide open when Caleb Anderson, a private investigator, shows up at the mansion. He believes several current missing persons cases are linked to the house and its dark past. Working together to find the connection and stop a contemporary killer, Sarah and Caleb are compelled to research the history of the haunted house, growing closer to each other even as the solution to the murders eludes them. But there is one who knows the truth…a spirit who follows every move they make. Soon Caleb begins to fear that if he can't stay a step ahead, he could lose Sarah to a killer with an ability to transcend time in a quest for blood and sacrifice. Download and start listening now!

" I only gave this story a 3 star rating for it was slow starting for me. I had to force myself to stay with this book. And I was glad I did. Again Ms. Graham turned the story around and I was so shocked with the killers that I had to listen to the book again to see if I had missed the key points and I was very pleased to listen the second time! Stay focused and you will truly enjoy this book! Love, murder, and betrayal!!!! "

" This was my first Heather Graham book. It started out good, then got a little slow paced. I continued with it, and it picked up. Without giving anything away, I liked the fact it had a twist I wasn't expecting. Besides it being slow for a little while, I liked it. "

" Fairly simplistic writing style with heavy doses of misplaced romantic episodes. However, the storyline was interesting and offered interesting insights into the history and rich cultural heritage of St. Augustine, Florida. (One of my favorite ocean spots.) "

" This book didn't get really good till around page 200 which is far too long but I was committed so I kept going. This story was very close to Ghost Walk right down to the characters and the group of tightly knit friends. I would recommend Ghost Walk over this one. I love supernatural stories and at least this one was interesting on that aspect. "

" Good book even if the supernatural elements Graham used were a little over used (especially in her writing). She writes a good location though- you really get a feel for that old, charming Southern town. "

" Had higher hopes for the book based on
The first few chapters. When the book was wrapping up everything happened too fast and was anti-climactic. First book that have read by HG, not running down to the library for another after reading other reviews of this one. "
