There are those who walk among us who are no longer alive, but not yet crossed over. They seek retribution…vengeance…to warn. Among the living, few intuit their presence.
Katie MacDonald is one who can.
As she’s drawn deeper and deeper into a gruesome years-old murder, whispered warnings from a spectral friend become more and more insistent. But Katie must uncover the truth: could David Beckett really be guilty of his fiancée’s murder?
Worse—the body count’s rising on the Island of Bones, and the dead seem to be reenacting some macabre tableaux from history. The danger is increasing by the moment—especially as Katie finds herself irresistibly drawn to David, who may be responsible for more than just one killing….

"Heather Graham's storytelling keeps me wanting more and more with every page. I love the fact that the story takes place in Key West (LOVE IT THERE) that was a plus for me. The two main characters worked well together mix in a few ghost & you are off. I enjoyed reading Graham's "Flynn Brothers" trilogy & so far enjoying this one, so on to the next book Ghost Night."

— Deanna, 12/1/2013" So far not too bad if you like talking ghosts living with you. "
— Elvis, 11/13/2013" Poorly written diaglogue. Promising idea for a plot, but it just didn't seem to develop as much as I had hoped it would. Not a reread. "
— Meredith, 11/1/2013" Left me rooting for the killer! "
— Lewis, 9/26/2013" This is a lot of fun. I hated to stop reading. Good mystery with lots of twists and turns. I enjoyed the setting, it made me want to visit Key West.. "
— George, 7/19/2013" This was my first Heather Graham novel and I really enjoyed it as a nice, easy read. The characters were relatable and now I really want to visit Key West. Graham does a great job of bringing her setting to life in a way that makes Key West like one of her characters. "
— Rebecca, 5/25/2013" 3.5 stars rounded to 4 because of the way she interwove Key West history and lore. Made the story that much more interesting. "
— Denise, 5/18/2013" The author artfully combines the supernatural with a mystery format. It was a very enjoyable and quick read. "
— Alex, 3/14/2013" Heather Graham is always a safe bet for an entertaining read and she continues the tradition in the first of The Bone Island Trilogy. The setting, Key West and a museum, was a fresh one for me and I truly enjoyed this book. A nice handling of a fairly common gift. "
— Mare, 12/14/2012" Great start to a new series! The book was quite creepy, and I loved Katie's ghostly companion pirate, Bartholomew. It was really well done in audio format as well. Looking forward to both Sean and Liam's stories! "
— ~Megan~, 6/11/2012" Kate saw and talked ot ghosts but no one knew for a long time. They helped Kate and others solve a crime in the Florida Keys that were centuries old. A paranormal, mystery, suspense and love story all rolled into one! "
— Joanie, 4/18/2012" it was such a chore to get through. i hope the other two in the trilogy are better. "
— KT, 8/5/2011" Now I wanna go back to Key West! "
— Becky, 7/26/2011" Fast moving mystery set in the Florida Keys. Murder, ghosts and love make a good story. "
— Cheryl, 7/10/2011" Excellent story. Makes me want to visit Key West. What a mixture of characters and changes in the plot, I was stumped to almost the end of the story. "
— Jeffrey, 4/30/2011" I think that if I would not have had so much going on in life right now I would have enjoyed this more. I read it in choppy sections. I did not figure out the killer, so that is a good thing! "
— Michelle, 4/27/2011" Sorry really tried to get into this book, but it took me 2 days to get to page 77. I hear she is a really good writer, so I'm ready for suggestions. "
— Desiree, 4/23/2011" A very nice intro to the series. "
— Shirley, 4/16/2011" Heather Graham is a new author for me. I'm not usually into supernatural-type stories, but this one was interesting and kept me reading. She has two more in this series which I will probably read also. "
— Tricia, 4/13/2011" Just did not hold my interest - the ghosts and Key West were the only reason I finished the book. Did not like it enough to continue with the series. "
— Kimberly, 4/5/2011" First book in the Bone Island Trilogy does not disappoint. It seem frought with a little too much history that is redudnant throught out and drags out an otherwise good story. The wax museum and murders were well done. The characters were likeable and you cared. Overall a good story. "
— SJuhl4, 3/2/2011" It was a good book minus the "fast forward scenes," otherwise pretty good, but she really like her hot and heavy parts which serioulsy seem a bit unrealistic. Do people really do that? I don't know, but the book would have could have been better minus that. "
— Tammie, 3/1/2011" This was tedious to read. I don't recommend it. "
— DLKeur, 2/11/2011" Love Heather Graham books! As usual she didn't disappoint. It's an easy read but usually with a nice twist at the end. First in the series of three so looking forward to the next one! "
— Lesley, 1/18/2011" Good cruiser. Thanks for the book Grammy! "
— Michelle, 1/7/2011" Ghost stories are always fun. This one was okay. The love scenes had more attention than anything else - including character development. If I didn't already have the entire series from the library, I don't know that I would bother getting the following books. "
— Janae, 1/6/2011" The writing was choppy. It seemed as if plot points weren't fleshed out. "
