A slasher movie turns real when two young actors are brutally murdered on a remote island film set. Their severed heads and arms are posed in macabre homage to a nineteenth-century pirate massacre.
Two years later, Vanessa Loren is drawn back to South Bimini by a documentary being made about the storied region. Filmmaker Sean O’Hara aches to see how the unsolved crime haunts her…and Sean knows more than a little about ghosts.
Lured by visions of a spectral figurehead, Vanessa discovers authentic pirate treasures that only deepen the mystery. Are the murders the work of modern-day marauders, the Bermuda Triangle or a deadly paranormal echo of the island’s violent history? As Vanessa and Sean grow closer, the killer prepares to resume the slaughter…unless the dead can intervene.

"Wow! This series game me chills and kept me wanting more! I bought them all, one a day until I finished them. Then I had to pass along the series for a friend to enjoy. I love that Ms. Graham writes a lot of series. She's always good for a chilling read!"
— Jenna (4 out of 5 stars)
" Yar! I hate reading trilogies out of order but I bought this for a plane ride so I was kind of SOL. Not that you need to know one to read the other but still. Anyway, liked the book. Her books are easy reads and a nice supernatural (and not vampire! Yes, supernatural non vampire books appear to exist) change of pace. I like her books, and though they'll never be on Oprah's lists and you won't learn anything vast, if you're looking for a good story to take you away from your day-- there you go. "
— Kristen, 2/6/2014" Great read! I bought this series prior to my nook buy Wow! "
— Linda, 1/28/2014" OK. An average read with helpful and hurtful ghosts. "
— Ruth, 1/27/2014" I'm going to go for 3.5... it was a great book; but there was just something about the ending... wasn't really feeling the ending. Seemed to be *poof* done. Overall though, really good read. "
— Annette, 1/17/2014" didn't keep my interest. characters & plot run together & have no individuality. "
— Tabatha, 1/7/2014" This one was just as tedious and roll-eye boring as book 1. I definitely do not recommend this author's work. Two books, both a strain to get through. I forced myself page by page. "
— DLKeur, 12/31/2013" I did like this better then some of her other books, but I think that is because it might take a while to get into her writing style. "
— Allie, 12/29/2013" Not very well written - I couldn't relate to the characters. "
— Jennifer, 12/25/2013" There were so many characters that I had a hard time keeping them straight. That may be because I read an abridged version. "
— Savage, 12/23/2013" The plot of this book was pretty good but I just didn't enjoy it very much. There was a LOT of sex in the book as well. These two characters would have sex one minute then be completely mad at each other the next. Just not my thing I guess. "
— Kay, 12/3/2013" Fast and easy to read. Some descriptive sex scenes. "
— Janeene, 12/2/2013" picked up in a drugstore while waiting for a prescription refill. good for what it was, and exactly as I expected it to be; no more, no less. "
— Julie, 11/29/2013" Very good - Historical romance with a touch of spirit! "
— Polly, 10/16/2013" Ok. Good lite reading "
— Veronica, 6/19/2013" Better than book one! "
— Michelle, 2/6/2013" I find the whole book was so dull and boring, more like a book on history. The ending annoyed me after reading over 90% of the book then it finally ended with a somewhat disappointing ending. Definitely not as promising as Ghost Shadow which was so much better than this. "
— Sil3ntcha0s, 12/25/2012" I really like Heather Graham but this book was terrible. I wish I had not bought it for my Kindle Fire. "
— Julianna, 10/7/2012" I loved this book too. I like the characters and can't wait to see what they get into next. "
— Renee, 10/6/2012" What a great follow up to Ghost Shadow. Loved it! "
— JazzRizz, 7/14/2012" A-Ma-Zing-Ghost Night "
— Chi, 3/19/2012" Plot & solution a little attenuated. "
— Lee, 10/3/2011" another quick read...second in the trilogy. definitely worth your time, as the ending was rather surprising! "
— Grace, 6/6/2011" I loved it! Liam Is awsome and When Bartholomew dissapeared I about cried. "
— Chi, 5/9/2011" Enjoyed this book. The characters were great, but there were a few parts that were repeats of other work by Graham. "
— Rene, 5/2/2011" This is the best book of the three. I really enjoyed the characters in this third book. I think character driven books are the best! "
— Michelle, 4/27/2011" OK Mystery for a little reading entertainment.I borrowed it from a friend, but personally wouldn't buy it. "
— Vera, 3/18/2011" a corny read but I love ghost stories and they are hard to find. "
— Kim, 3/7/2011" If you like the other two, you will like this one. I'm glad I'm done with the Key West ghosts and evil people. The reason it got three stars was I liked the way Bartholomew's story ended. "
— Mum, 2/28/2011" The same as the first two. I loved the book, although I was sad to see the trilogy end. This group of characters was fun to read and I was actually hoping for more. "
— Renee, 2/16/2011" I love this trilogy! They're easy, quick reads that provide amusement from decent stories, and likable characters. I'll definitely be checking out more of Heather Graham's books! "
— Joanie, 2/15/2011" A very enjoyable read. A fantastic mystery, with interesting characters who are actually 3 dimensional. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves mysteries with a twist. "
— Nora-adrienne, 2/5/2011" My favorite of the three. Heather Graham did a good job in both the story and wrapping up the series. A fun cozy. "
— Sherry, 1/14/2011" Certainly not the best Heather Graham book I've read. "
— Jennifer, 12/31/2010" A nice wrap up of a very entertaining trilogy. "
— JazzRizz, 12/17/2010" Makes me want to go back to Key West! "
