Dust to Dust Audiobook

" I didn't hate this book but I didn't love it very much either. The premise is 2012 is coming and the world is going to end. 12 people, one of each star sign are all that stands between mankind and destruction. Nothing original here. Only read if you can't find anything else to read "

" This book had such potential but it required that you had read her other books that deal with the Alliance. Scott has a chance meeting with an old man (whose life is he trying to save) and the old man says some things that make Scott superhuman. He meets up with Melanie while trying to use his powers for good. (Don't mean to be snide. Up through this point, the book was terrific.) It was even interesting while trying to solve the 2012 Mayan prophecy. But the relationship between Scott and Melanie didn't seem to be based on anything and the story didn't feel particularly suspenseful. Did make me want to read some of the Alliance books but I'm not sure that was the point. "

" Never finished. I kept trying and trying and by the time my brain would wrap around one concept she was throwing something else out there. I like Heather Graham but I just couldnt finish this one, gives me a headache "

" While an enjoyable read, this story had a ton of characters from other series. Since I hadn't read any of the others, I felt places were incomplete or not explained. Still, it was an interesting story about saving the world. "

" I never connected with the characters. They seemed pretty flat. Plus, all of the Catholic overtones were just too much for this Pagan girl. It took me almost a year to finish it. I kept putting it down and forgetting to pick it back up. "

" Not a bad bit of fiction. Character names were a little confusing Meg & Mel in to many fast conversations in the start together. Overall, pretty good with a nice moving plot and it built right. "

" The first half of the book was very slow moving, but I really enjoyed the second half. Loved Scott but Melanie annoyed me a bit. Really liked Rainier as well. "
