AN ANCIENT WARRIOR.
AN INCREDIBLE TREASURE.
A LETHAL ENEMY.
It's the opportunity of a lifetime—the chance to prove that a tomb containing the remains of the legendary hero Hercules actually exists. If American archaeologist Nina Wilde can locate it, it will be the most important historical find ever unearthed. But as Nina and her ex-SAS bodyguard, Eddie Chase, begin their search, it's clear that others want to find the tomb—and the unimaginable riches within—and will do anything to get there first.
Who will find the tomb of Hercules first, and what fantastic treasure does it hold? From New York to Shanghai, from Switzerland to the diamond mines of Botswana, Nina and Eddie must stay one step ahead of their enemies in a race to solve a mystery as ancient as civilization itself. But when a beautiful woman from Eddie's past joins the hunt, all the rules change—and in this life-and-death game, their next move may be the most dangerous one of all.

— Desertreef (5 out of 5 stars)
Where others' action scenes limp along unconvincingly, his explode off the page in Technicolor, IMAX-scale, Dolby digital surround sound.... The dialogue crackles.
Petualangan mereka belum berakhir. XD "
— Natha, 1/30/2014" This was a quick read because the main characters seemed to always be fighting their way out of some kind of jam. When they weren't in that situation, they were either arguing with each other or making up. Also, the title of the book, "The Tomb of Hercules", was somewhat misleading. The actual finding of the tomb only happened over a short span of the book and the real story line had nothing to do with the tomb. However, I will continue to read the rest of the books in this series. "
— Tommy, 1/26/2014" It was a bit repetitive. "
— Chris, 1/26/2014" those two are never out of trouble "
— Jessi, 1/9/2014" Another fun action/adventure story from the creative mind of Andy McDermott. Wilde and Chase are at it again getting themselves into life-threatening situations. Good read...looking forward to "The Secret of Excalibur". "
— Shawn, 1/8/2014" This was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I really enjoyed the non-stop action and the character interactions but was hoping for more substance regarding the archaeological/historical aspects of Hercules Tomb to be integrated into the narrative. Hoping this will be remedied in the next book of the series. "
— Shane, 12/26/2013" I would have like a little more on the treasure hunt. "
— Claude, 12/15/2013" Loving a good mystery/suspense story, it seemed like legends and myths would make great fodder for a series; but alas, it falls disappointingly short. Great concept that got lost in the telling. "
— Beckie, 11/21/2013" The adventures of Eddie Chase and Nina Wilde are now something I look forward to - exciting, fast-paced and the subject matter bound to appeal to me. "
— Winnie, 10/23/2013" It was fast moving and at times felt like a Mission Impossible movie - lots of action, bombs and car chases. "
— Sandi, 10/19/2013" while the descriptions are worthy of a coragraghed action flick, they add to the feeling the book is dragging. plus, characters that just wont die are so terminator... "
— Cheryl, 9/26/2013" Ok I just couldn't do it. I was so bored reading this book. I had hoped that McDermott's writing would improve in book 2, but alas it did not so I'm shelving this one indefinitely. "
— Alice, 9/22/2013" book was full of action, nina and chase are funny, full of action, and have a corky relationship, that begs you to read more!! good read!!! "
— Wendy, 9/16/2013" Not as good as the first one. The Tomb of Hercules plays only a small part in the book. "
— Austin, 7/26/2013" Will update this when I've finished it! "
— Linda, 5/9/2013" action packed and fabulous! I need to pick up the rest of the series! "
— Armedndelirious, 2/7/2013" Not as good as Hunt for Atlantis, but still not bad "
— Rhona, 10/7/2012" I have read several of his books and really liked them. "
— Frank, 6/9/2012" Not as good as the first one... Hope the third book is better "
— Ron, 6/4/2012" I happened upon this book by accident and am glad to say it was a very happy accident. I will be reading more by this author. The book had a constant flow of action that kept me involved all the way to the end. "
— Mary, 9/6/2011" Another great adventure read from Andy McDermott. Fast past action and intrigue makes for an excellent book which I highly recommend. "
— Larry, 11/19/2010" Read like a movie script for Action/Adventure Too busy "
— Deanna, 10/11/2010" Seems this book has two titles and covers: Also known as The Cult of Osiris. Had me very confused. "
— Suzi, 10/8/2010" My first McDermott book, quite a romp in several different ways. Not usually my thing but I enjoyed it and will probably back order the rest of the series. "
— Chris, 5/6/2010" McDermott has done it again. The Cult of Osiris is the new action packed Nina Wildes / Eddie Chase mystery. If you are looking for a cross between Indiana Jone and Dirk Pitt IClive Cussler series) than look no further. "
— Fred, 12/30/2009" I Loved it- LOVED IT! And does anyone else think that Nina's wierd behaviour and the final line of the story might hint at her being pregnant? Or is that just me... <br/> <br/> "
