AN INCREDIBLE DISCOVERY.
A MERCILESS FOE.
A DEADLY RACE FOR THE TRUTH.
Off a remote stretch of the Indonesian coast, archaeologist Nina Wilde has made an astounding discovery: an artifact that will rewrite everything that's known about human history. But before she can return to tell the world of her find, her ship is brutally attacked, her crew is ruthlessly murdered, and the artifact is stolen. Someone wants this secret to stay hidden—and will do anything to keep it that way.
From the depths of the ocean to the Australian outback, to the halls of the United Nations, Nina and her fiancé, ex-SAS bodyguard Eddie Chase, embark on a quest to stop the all-powerful Covenant of Genesis, a clandestine group sworn to keep Nina's discovery a secret. Nina and Eddie have faced tough adversaries before, but the relentless Covenant is always two steps ahead of them—and more than willing to kill again. Who will be the first to expose the truth—and the first to claim the most valuable archaeological prize of all time?

"All of the series has been good, even without me reading the books in order. However, this is the first time I was disapointed I didn't read the book in order, there were 2 well written cliffhangers, but having read the next book I knew the end result so a little anti-climatic."
— Philip (4 out of 5 stars)
Occasional Indiana Jones–style whip amid plenty of action and gore.
— Publishers Weekly" Wow! Action packed and well written, I had trouble putting it down! "
— Armedndelirious, 2/18/2014" Enjoy this series...it's kind of like reading an Indiana Jones movie. "
— Kathy, 2/4/2014" Love this author. This series is like an Indiana Jones movie but better. "
— James, 2/3/2014" The most ridiculous thriller I have read in a long time. Very poorly researched and seems to de written for children "
— Peter, 2/2/2014" As usual action packed and fast paced moving all over the world. Enjoyed this book thorougly. Twists and turns all over the place keeping Nina and Eddie on their toes. "
— Lauren, 1/26/2014" These books are alwas good, but I find myself skipping whole pages. Mr McDermott spends too much ime describing their battles or escapes "
— Daniel, 1/21/2014" Not one of the best found it a real struggle to finnish "
— Nigel, 12/6/2013" great entertaining read...has slight spoilers for previous books in the series though...it will make a good indiana jones type movie...but i generally like my action a bit more believable....still, i will definitely read the rest of the series... "
— Core, 11/14/2013" it was ok, not a great ending I was expecting more "
— Sablemorgans, 11/12/2013" I did not like the female character. She is too wishy-washy. In one instance she is tough and then when her Chase is around she seems too "I'm a girl, protect me, I cannot do this without your help" She really got on my nerves. The story was good and interesting. "
— Ginger, 11/9/2013" More from the daring duo of Eddie Chase and Nina Wilde who yet again conquer all in another action packed adventure. "
— Winnie, 7/7/2013" IN LOVE WITH THIS AUTHER!!! "
— Curly, 5/24/2013" The only imagery I liked in this book was the moving statues ... This author does not write for the intelligent reader, he writes with the hollywood blockbuster in mind. A betrayal of instrumentality. "
— Artemis, 2/17/2013" Action packed and exciting. I could visualize the characters and scenes. Much more exciting than the tv shows that are on now. Loved it. Good mix of humor and action. "
— Magiccats, 10/25/2012" Would have given it a 2.5 if I could. I'll be generous and round up instead. "
— Jay, 10/5/2012" Better than the first three books in this series as the author finally spent more time with the archeology discovery and less on hard to read troubled romantic angst. The action remains fast paced and somewhat unbelievable but keeps you reading until the end. "
— Roger, 9/8/2012" This is McDermott's fourth book and an improvement over the last. He has broken out of the template of his first three books slightly. This is an enjoyable read to help pass the time on a plane and nothing more. "
— Santiago, 1/18/2012" Rip-roaring adventure! He's no Clive Cussler, but it was still a page turner! "
— Linda, 9/15/2011" This is a pretty good action adventure. I'v been looking for a different author to read, so I'll try his others. It's worth a read although I think Matthew Reilly handles the genre better. "
— Richard, 6/10/2011" Another great adventure read from Andy McDermott. Fast past action and intrigue makes for an excellent book which I highly recommend. "
— Larry, 11/19/2010" Read like a movie script for Action/Adventure Too busy "
— Deanna, 10/11/2010" Seems this book has two titles and covers: Also known as The Cult of Osiris. Had me very confused. "
— Suzi, 10/8/2010" My first McDermott book, quite a romp in several different ways. Not usually my thing but I enjoyed it and will probably back order the rest of the series. "
— Chris, 5/6/2010" McDermott has done it again. The Cult of Osiris is the new action packed Nina Wildes / Eddie Chase mystery. If you are looking for a cross between Indiana Jone and Dirk Pitt IClive Cussler series) than look no further. "
— Fred, 12/30/2009" I Loved it- LOVED IT! And does anyone else think that Nina's wierd behaviour and the final line of the story might hint at her being pregnant? Or is that just me...

"
