"So, as I think back on this book (I am like 4 books ahead of this one now), I remember that I devoured it. I read all day for like 2 days and then it was over. I loved this story. I mean, okay, her female characters all tend to be basically the same woman. That is getting slightly boring. But her MEN!! Sheesh. The De Piaget men are just breathtaking. I can't get enough of them!! And Kendrick definitely did not disappoint. This story was particularly romantic because of the unique way in which he finds himself in the future. He was killed at the end of Richard and Jessica's book (who knows which one that was; her titles are so ridiculous), but I already knew from a previous book (Amanda and Jake's) what would happen to him. Kurland likes to give away parts of certain stories, within other stories and I'm fine with that. I knew that Kendrick became a ghost when he died and that he was tied to Seakirk for almost 800 years before "something" happened to free him from that existence. I also knew that he ended up with Genevieve and that they had bunches of kids. But that was all I knew when I started reading this book.It was wonderful getting to see the hilarious beginning to Kendrick and Genevieve's relationship! I love that they fell in love while he was still a ghost and that before said falling in love, he wanted to either scare her into leaving, drive her (literally crazy) or KILL her!! It was really funny watching him try to do those things, knowing that they would end up having a HEA. Her reaction to him was perfect. I also loved that they couldn't touch while they were falling in love. It made everything so much more intense and heightened. And then that one moment where they could magically touch, but while he was still a ghost!!! Aghh! I almost died it was so romantic. This was a seriously amazing book. I really loved it. I only have one small complaint -- the FOOTSY PAJAMAS!!!! What the crap was that?? So totally, completely lame. And it REALLY pulled me out of the romance of the scene every time she would mention them. Uggh. Annoying. I actually had to make myself just picture more casually sexy pajamas instead, like a tank top and flannel pants...or a t-shirt with just underwear. Much. Better.Still loved it though. ;)"

" This was interesting love story. "
— Denise, 2/18/2014" I love Kurland because she is a clean romance author. This book was not clean like her others so I was a little sad. This is the story of Genevieve Buchanan and Kendrick DePiaget (Ghost). I liked the over all book and was able to skip over the parts that I didn't want to read. "
— Melissa, 2/18/2014" I have SO much on my plate lately that I find I can't give my proper attention to a new story and am finding it utterly relaxing to read some "old favorites". This time through I'm reading in order of publication, as opposed to by family. The little details in the series' make more sense this time around and even though I know what's going to happen, I'm still very much enjoying them. So. I am reading. Maybe nothing new for a little while, but the reading never ends. Great story. Liked it just as much the second time around. "
— Erin, 2/13/2014" Total escapism, not great writing, but boy if I do ever like the idea of a knight coming to life. Ghosts and romance, who knew I'd like the combo. "
— Julia, 2/8/2014" A little to far fetched even for me but an ok read. "
— Lynn, 2/5/2014" This book is my absolute favorite of all Kurland books I've ever read! The ghost is awesome. I will never forget the scene where the butler dialed the phone for Kendrick ( the ghost) and he said into it, "Come home Genevieve....." Ahhhhh what a guy! "
