"I enjoyed this reader, no accent problems and the story was captivating. I really like Julie Garwoods books and have had to previously buy CD's which I find difficult to listen too when wandering around. Or even in car as few cars now have CD or DVD players. The pace of the reading was just how I like it. I know I can adapt but sometimes that makes it too fast or too slow. I recommend this audio to all. So thanks to audiobookstore for the audio. "

— Lizziet, 1/19/2014" i was torn between 2 or 3 stars... because of my loyalty to Julie Garwood i gave it a 3 "
— Diana, 1/12/2014" The first half dragged like crazy. Many characters didn't even meet until a quarter of the way through the story. Lame romance, pretty good mystery. Downloaded it free from the library - you get what you pay for. "
— Terri, 1/8/2014" This book was kind of pointless. There really wasn't a plot line or interesting characters. Not one of my favorites. "
— Heather, 1/5/2014" A quick little read. Not many surprises. Enjoyed the characters; again no surprises. Very funny in places. I enjoyed it. The end. "
— Carol, 12/30/2013" Garwood is excellent at mixing murder and romance. Her characters are somewhat predictable, but a good story nonetheless. "
— Benita, 11/13/2013" I don't know if I have just read too many books in this genre, but this seemed like every other romantic suspense novel. "
— Kelsey, 11/8/2013" This was a good suspense in that it kept me guessing a bit. One young woman suddenly finds herself under FBI protection due to a break-in at her apartment. Throughout the book, we read about the men following her and assume they're all related, but are they? It's a good story. "
— Sara, 10/19/2013" Not as good as other books by Julie garwood "
— Mandy, 10/1/2013" Let's see if Julie Garwood keeps her momentum... I thought it was decent. Would have made for better reading on the beach.. Good summer reading. Not too much detail and had an easy flow. "
— Melinda, 9/28/2013" I'd make this 2.5 stars. I really liked Garwood's historicals, but I realize that authors like to move on. There were some of her fun moments in this one, but they didn't quite compensate for the dragging sections. "
— Donna, 6/16/2013" Great! I love Julie Garwood's Contemporary Novels. :) "
— Terri, 2/9/2013" This was a standard Garwood contemporary romance. It had a number of new characters with just a few recurring ones. The plot was decently paced, and I enjoyed the parts of the book focused more Lyra's film studies. Overall, it was an entertaining break from every day life. "
— Eva, 1/13/2013" Julie has done it again! "
— Mylinda, 10/11/2012" I read this on vacation and it was the perfect book for the plane but I didn't get it finished and I couldn't put it down. Julie just has a great way of grabbing you at the beginning and not letting go until the end. "
— W.s., 8/23/2012" Sweet, charming and funny. "
— Kel, 8/10/2012" Typical romance. Was nice and quick reading and fun. "
— Laura, 6/30/2012" I thought this was a terrific book. I really enjoyed the characters and the plot was interesting. Very fun read! "

— Mum, 11/18/2011" I thought I was ready for an airport escape novel, but couldn't finish this one. Nothing really grabbed - characters seemed total sterotypes. Is that what an airport novel is? "
— Kathy, 7/26/2011" An enjoyable rom-thriller in typical Garwood style. Not great literature but fine winter diversion when one is too tired to have the cranium challenged. "
— Nancy, 7/13/2011" Rather predictable and not as good as I remember some of her other books. It could be that I read Julie's books when I was younger and am just past this author now. "
— Katherine, 5/18/2011" One of the villains has a hilarious run in with librarians, which I, of course, enjoyed. "
— Javen, 4/15/2011" I read this on vacation and it was the perfect book for the plane but I didn't get it finished and I couldn't put it down. Julie just has a great way of grabbing you at the beginning and not letting go until the end. "
— W.S., 4/14/2011" Break ins bombs shootings all because Lyra Prescott did something someone did not like. Sam Kincaid was asked as a favor to be her bodyguard. Sam is hot and Lyra is sexy and the two connect. I think Milo did not have to be in the book because he was too stupid for words "
— Debra, 4/13/2011" This was my first Julie Garwood book. I decided to try it based on past good reviews of her prior books. Not impressed. Thin plot, silly parallel story of hitman, and predictable story line. I won't ready any more of her books. "
— Jean, 4/13/2011" This author is known for romantic suspenses. Sizzle is a mystery story with a bit of the romantic angle. A film student sets up an automatic camera at a city park, and inadvertantly records a crime. The criminals figure this out and.... It's a fast-moving fun read. "
— james, 4/4/2011" This book was good, but the bad guy was a freakin IDIOT! It was funny during the entire book...I enjoyed it. "
— Dana, 4/3/2011" Fun, light read. Julie Garwood always makes me smile and delivers a Romance with delightful characters. "
— Grace, 3/31/2011" Always enjoy Julie Garwood...but I thought this one wrapped up a bit fast. I would have liked a little more time to develop the relationship between the main characters. "
— Allison, 3/21/2011" A quick one for the airport- not recommended for your teenage daughters though! "
