"I enjoy Sandra Brown's simplistic yet effective writing style, but the characterization was a bit lacking in this novel. I loved the hero, but didn't like how the heroine wasn't seen as altogether good until the very end; it's hard to get into a novel when you can't love both the hero and the heroine throughout the story."
