Grew up spending many summer hours on the beaches of Biloxi and Gulfport and enjoyed frequent trips to Ship Island. The history lesson was fantastic. Learning about the immigrants, how they came to live along the coast and their struggles was so enlightening. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the book. "
