Publisher Description

From the beloved Sandra Brown, whose "storytelling gift [is] surprisingly rare" (Toronto Sun), comes this New York Times bestselling novel, an exquisitely sensual tale of a young woman's sudden, irresistible affair with a stranger—a man whose secret could shatter her life.... Since the death of her husband, Alicia Russell has struggled to take care of her two young sons alone. But when a sudden storm threatens to ruin a family camping trip, Alicia must rely upon a stranger for help. Before long, the man offers much more than shelter from the storm. Handsome, sensual, and slightly mysterious, Pierce Reynolds showers much-needed attention on Alicia's sons—and reminds her how it feels to be desired. But even as Pierce tempts Alicia to explore her newly reawakened longings, he holds her at arm's length, his only explanation a silent refusal to share the secrets of his heart. Alicia knows she can't give Pierce up without a fight. But how can she convince him that love is a risk worth taking?

"This was 2nd or 3rd book of Sandra Brown's books that I had the pleasure of reading, it has it all inside the pages to this book wet, rained, soak mother with 2 boys. In a cabin loaned to them for the holiday weekend.. The guy standing at the door ahhh he couldn't turn away from watching the young woman trying to get the lights back on. This is a excellent book.... I tracked down a copy of it for sale it now is with all my book collecting set's."

" Cleverly romantic and a very good read. Sandra Brown has cemented herself as one of my top ten favourite authors. She brings such talent to the written word and her way of expressing the characters through words brings them to life in one's imagination. You simply get caught up in them. That's one of the things that makes a book attractive to read. This book's really worth the five star review in my opinion. "

" This was my first Sandra Brown book and I thought the romance was excellent. The story was intriguing and the characters were all so likable. Pierce was such a great father figure to the boys. Definitely a read for mature audiences :) Thanks for the first reads win! "

" Very predictable storyline. A bit too simplistic for my tastes. An easy, short read, which was a good thing because I don't think I could have stuck with it for much longer. "

" It's a shame about this book, because I got it free from the author and all, but I just can't seem to get into it. I was hoping it might be a bit more interesting and not a one-sided romance. I have not been able to finish it due to a lack of fascination. It just seemed rather boring. I'm still planning to try the other book I have by this author, though, in the hope that it will be better. "

" This is another classic romance from Brown. I liked the characters and storyline in Send No Flowers. While there are no surprises in the storyline, that is the formula for this type of book and is why you read it. It's definitely a good read. "
