The unforgettable story of a woman who returns to her small hometown in the South—and finds that the sins of her past are right where she left them, from Sandra Brown author of more than fifty New York Times bestselling novels. Never. Sunny Chandler always said she’d never go back to the tiny town where she grew up. It was just three years ago that she was at the center of a notorious scandal—and the good folks of Latham Green, Louisiana, made it clear they’d never let her forget it. So Sunny packed up and headed for New Orleans, and now she wouldn’t give up city life for the world. But when she’s invited to her best friend’s wedding, Sunny has no choice but to go home. And with her return come the whispers . . . the looks . . . the rumors she tried to escape. It doesn’t take Sunny long to see that Latham Green has nothing new to offer. Except maybe Ty Beaumont. The moment Ty and Sunny first meet at a party, he can see she’s no ordinary woman. With her dazzling hair, and eyes the color of gold, she’s a flesh-and-blood fantasy—and Ty vows he’ll have her in his bed before the week is out. Yet even when he turns on his southern charm, Sunny makes it clear she’s not interested. Sure, a night with Ty would be wilder than Bourbon Street at Mardi Gras. But Sunny’s not in town to become some good ol’ boy’s latest conquest, no matter how sexy he is. Little does she know that Ty isn’t used to taking no for an answer—and he isn’t about to start now. Soon what began as an innocent flirtation becomes a tantalizingly slow, skillfully deliberate, and overwhelmingly seductive pursuit that even Sunny finds hard to resist. But resist him she will. For Sunny is harboring an agonizing secret—the painful truth of why she left Latham Green the way she did. What she really needs now is a friend—and that’s when she discovers there may be more to Ty Beaumont than meets the eye. Despite his roguish facade, Sunny comes to see he has a heart of gold. Still, she doesn’t know if she can trust another person with her secret heartbreak—not even the one man who may be able to heal it.

"At first I did not like this book. It took a little to get into the story and for the characters to develop. But by the middle of the book, I was hooked. The characters in this story are interesting and have some depth. The story is interesting, but pretty straight forward. Still a very good read."

— Dianna, 11/15/2013" Ty reminds me of a certain other fictional Louisiana sheriff. Though Ty is slightly more tan and less dead than the other one. "
— Sarah, 11/4/2013" Ugh. I don't know why I even tried. This is so not my style. I finally gave up and never finished. Cheesy smut. "
— Kelly, 10/29/2013" It's a romance, and the lead character's name is Sunny. OF COURSE, I loved this book. "
— Naiya, 7/16/2013" I like Sandra Brown even though most of her stuff has a happy ending and there is always a romance story to tell. The small town girl leaves only to come back and find true love in the place she said she would never return. "
— Patty, 2/28/2013" I really like this book, when i was reading it i could just forget about all my problems and my life and just get into the romance between Ty and Sunny. And I found it funny that the word NO really seemed to missing from Ty's dictonarry:D "
— Esther, 5/26/2012" Another winner from Sandra Brown, who for me can do no wrong. Very enjoyable. "
— Wendy, 5/15/2012" It was hot from the beginning and it keeps the pace till the end. Although the story cliche but interesting to read. "
— Asrina, 4/11/2012" Give me a silly fun southern love story any day!! This one fit the bill. I've tried several of Ms Brown' other novels but haven't found the same lightheartedness and fun of this book. "
— Darlene, 3/26/2012" This is one of her older books (1980's).Typical Harlequin romance. "
— Sandy, 3/17/2012" I LIKED this book. I really like the love story that starts out as antagonising "hatred". Good quick read. MS Brown is at her best with her mystery stories though.... "
— Tbennett, 12/20/2011" Just read this book for a wquick read. Sexy and silly not even close to reality...the couple decide to get married after only one week. "
— Linda, 9/28/2011" Suka sih sama heronya walaupun dia belagu, narsis, blakblakan, bermulut vulgar, dan tingkat kepedeannya setinggi langit. Hahaha ;D "
— Vanessa, 9/26/2011" 535th - 2011

Sampai halaman akhir aku nggak bisa suka sama hero-nya, yang narsis dan pede abis kalau tidak ada cewek yang bisa menolak daya tarik seksualnya. Tentunya Sandra Brown membenarkan keyakinannya itu... ;)

Yah, sudahlah... "
— Threez, 5/17/2011" I really like this book, when i was reading it i could just forget about all my problems and my life and just get into the romance between Ty and Sunny. And I found it funny that the word NO really seemed to missing from Ty's dictonarry:D "
— Esther, 3/18/2011" wow, hot.
tapi ceritanya juga lucu sih, pertengkaran Sunny dengan Ty acap kali membuatku tersenyum. "
— Rhea, 2/18/2011" I liked it because it reminded me of a simpler time in life, when life was more relaxed. It gives memories of time when there were still drive-in theatres and WoolWorth stores were still around. I thought it was very romantic and exciting. "
— Nicole, 1/16/2011" Always fun and light reading with Sandra Brown books. Nice break from the drama type that I usually read. Love, Lust, and attractions with good looking characters..LOL "
— Tara, 1/11/2011" Fun, sexy read. I admit I wanted Sunny to put Ty in his place a few times, but overall I enjoyed his aggressive, yet somehow good-humored, pursuit. (But I still got a kick out of Sunny turning tables on Ty.) I definitely laughed out loud a few times. "
— Carrie, 11/3/2010" One of my favorites. A fun, quick read! "
— Diane, 6/17/2010" I always enjoy Sandra Browns novels but this one was more of a romance than a mystery which I always prefer. Well written as always. "
— Sheila, 4/7/2010" w sukaaa...
Ceritanya pure romance, mank ciri khas buku2 tipisnya SB ^^
Seneng bgt bc yg lead cona over pede...
Yg pasti nie novel extra Hot... "
