" This book was a little better than the first. It wasn't quite as shockingly disturbing. I thought that the story jumped around a lot and it introduced a lot of new characters but failed to develop them very well. You really only get to know Lucivar in this book. I was confused often when the other characters were mentioned because there were a lot, but they were so seldom mentioned that you tended to forget who they were and where they came from! It kept me interested enough to continue reading the series. "
