"This book is gripping and compelling. It really pulls at your heart strings and reminded me so much of the tenderness of the love God has for us while still delivering a powerful story written in a way that captivates you and leaves you pondering the story while you're away from the book. Ted Dekker is the most talented Christian novelist alive right now. I usually can't stand Christian fiction because of how corny it is, but his stories are real, relatable, relevant, and written with a strong voice, storyline and plot. Definitely recommend this!"

" A fun read. Enjoyed it but it wasn't as suspenseful like many of his books. You have to remember that this book was the first book he wrote. I will end up reading the complete Martyr's series because I am such a Dekker fan. "

" I started reading Ted Dekker because I love Frank Peretti. Some of Dekker's books are really good and some are just creepy. I finally stopped reading his books because creepy won out over good. I am not a fan of scary or twisted or just plain weird. This book was one of the really good reads. I enjoyed it thoroughly. "

" Well I'm reading the three in one book rather than each book individually. So I must say that I have just now finished this book and it brought tears to my eyes. I cannot say in words what this book has brought to my attention but I am without a doubt going to read When Heaven Weeps now and keep moving forward for there are reasons we find ourselves reading books at one point or another. Sometimes we are all on a very thin line that we may fall one way or the other but then realize we are always loved regardless of where we are on that thin line. "

" Probably deserves 5 stars. This was one of the most difficult Dekker books to read for me. I don't mean complicated. The subject matter is serious and the story, if you are into it, is a rough ride but well worth the effort. "
