Snatched off a train full of vacationing sightseers, she and her son become the captives of an enigmatic stranger. Miranda knows she will do anything to save her child. . . even if it means fighting her own treacherous feelings for the man who holds her hostage. . . even if it means facing up to a shocking revelation that will make her question her past, her choices, and the woman she's become.

"Another one of Sandra Brown’s many romantic novels, with an inspired hostage theme. I found it an easy read with lots of inspiring moments; however, I also found the plot a little disturbing on an emotional level. Lots of heat and passion of many forms with in it’s pages. "

No one understands sexual fantasy better than Sandra Brown. . . . Ms. Brown inventively blends a variety of fantasies into the fabric of her very real romance.
— Romantic TimesMs. Brown's larger than life heroes and heroines make you believe all the warm, wonderful, wild things in life.
— Rendezvous" Loved this book...read it in one night! "
— Nichole, 2/2/2014" This book was great at times, but Hawk and Randy totally drove me absolutely crazy. "
— Aimee, 2/1/2014" Horrible! Kidnapped woman is treated like garbage, he calls her a slut, insults her motherhood and subjects her to even more mental cruelty, ok, that's all to be expected...but wait.... she can't wait to "make a passionate love to him" what a joke! "
— Brittany, 1/22/2014" 2,5 stars.. "
— Sannn~~~, 1/20/2014" fav book "
— Angel, 1/16/2014" Really liked this short Sandra B novel. Very contemporary even though it is "quite" old. Gotta love a hunky Indian (with a big member) who is not afraid to drink breast milk.... But there is so much more to this wild-west kidnap story. Well worth the time., "
— comfort, 1/12/2014" Let me start by saying that I love Sandra Brown's early works (as evidenced by the overabundance of her name on my read shelf). But I hated this book!! It was stupid, contrite, and ridiculous. Please don't be offended, Ms. Brown. I can't stand "Hot Ice" by Nora Roberts, either! "
— Sarah, 1/11/2014" A state representative's ex-wife and young son are kidnapped off a sightseeing train and held hostage by Indians who want a silver mine reopened. Light reading. Nice romance. "
— Evelyn, 12/31/2013" I read the whole book in just one sitting, it's that good. "
— Sarah, 12/10/2013" My 1st ever romance novel... "
— Anna, 11/25/2013" Good love story. That is about all I can say. I love any book that has anything to do with Native Americans so that helped save this book. "

— Oktalinasusi, 8/28/2013" deliciously yummy and it's deep how a book can be so shallow!!! (in a tremendously positive sense). A must read book when you need a light sensual book to accompany you in a tough yet smooth journey. hihi... "
— Sylvia, 8/8/2013" Good no thinking easy reading--- "
— Celine, 8/7/2013" really weak writing...the title character was unlikable & a bully. The fact that the girl fell for him was lame & unreal. Bad plot, bad ending. "
— Jo, 6/13/2013" Meh read. One thing that will always stick with me with this book was the hero calling his heroine a slut and a whore numerous times ... and then she fell in love with him, what?! "
— Shabby, 12/31/2012" This one was ok. Not her best. Really could not get into it, but still a quick read. "

— Laura, 9/2/2012" I loved this book very good read!! "
— Tera, 8/3/2012" Being a romantic I enjoyed the read. I luved her 'fighting' attitude. A strong woman. "
— David, 6/21/2012" Ohkay so it's a classic and the guy tends to be pushy. And the whole Stockholm syndrome thing. I despise the male protagonist for being pushy and condescending. And I find it hard to sympathize with the female protagonist who lets the guy push her around. "
— Primadonna, 7/2/2011" Penyebab gw gila banget sama yang berbau Indian mungkin karena baca novel ini. Hawk O'Toole really take my breath away...*lebay.com "
