Publisher Description

In Alyson Noel's most darkly seductive Immortals novel yet, Ever fights for control of her body, her soul—and the timeless true love she's been chasing for centuries. Ever is trying to help Haven transition into life as an immortal. But with Haven drunk on her new powers and acting recklessly, she poses the ultimate threat—exposing their secret world to the outside. As Ever struggles to keep the Immortals hidden, it only propels Haven closer to the enemy—Roman and his evil companions At the same time, Ever delves deeper into dark magick to free Damen from Roman's power. But when her spell backfires, it binds her to the one guy who's hell-bent on her destruction. Now there's a strange, foreign pulse coursing through her, and no matter what she does, she can't stop thinking about Roman—and longing for his touch. As she struggles to resist the fiery attraction threatening to consume her, Roman is more than willing to take advantage of her weakened state…and Ever edges closer and closer to surrender. Frantic to break the spell before its too late, Ever turns to Jude for help, risking everything she knows and loves to save herself—and her future with Damen …

"This was probably one of my favorites in the entire series. I love how they added Jude into the story, and the background of Ava comes into play. I love the series, but when it's all about Ever and Damen and her being whiney about not being able to sleep with him, it really got boring. I like how in this book Alyson writes more on Jude, Honor, Haven, etc. It was finally a book that had more to it than just Ever and Damen, and I liked it. My friend just read Night Star and said it ends in a cliff hanger, so I'm excited to read it, but not excited about waiting until this Summer to read the last one. :("

  • The seven disks seemed to fly by of their own accord. Ms. Schorr continues to spellbound as she narrates the world of Ever Bloom.

" I am so beyond ready for her to end this series. The first two books were good and since then I feel that her storyline is waning away into a nauseating attempt to stretch this series out as long as she can. End it already! "

" I have had a love-hate relationship with this series. I enjoyed the first book, but the second and third lost some steam. But, I'm hooked and need to finish the series to see what happens. However, this one picked it back up. The tension between Haven and Ever was palpable and drove the plot. I'm interested to get into the last one and see how it all ends. "

" Ever is so desperate to get the antidote that will allow her and Damen's DNA to mingle that she gets herself caught up in some dark, dark, magyck. Lots of it. And she accidentally binds herself to Roman. Now, all she wants is Roman; he is all she dreams about. Ever has to find away to reverse the magyck, while trying to keep her best friend, Haven, from lashing out with her new immortal powers. At the end, Roman is killed in a tragic misunderstanding, and Haven deems Ever responsible. "

" I felt frustrated with the story in this one. So many negative things and not much positive and some things I wanted to happen, didn't. Which was disappointing. But I did enjoy it and read it in one evening. lol I am anxious to read the next one but my library has it "on order" so i'll have to wait. In the meantime i'm reading "Dark Lover" by J. R. Ward. It is out of my norm, so we'll see how it goes. :) "
