"i loved the story, but the way the author wrote really irritated me. i didn't notice it as much in the previous books in this series, but for some reason, it really got to me. she wrote in the present tense, which was slightly distracting, but then it also seemed as though every paragraph started w/ a fragment instead of a complete sentence. it drove me nuts to the point i had trouble focusing on the plot. the characters were engaging, the story was awesome, and i can't wait to read the concluding book coming out later this year, but it took a bit more concentration to get past the grammar than i would have liked."

— Kathrine, 2/10/2014" It was soooooo awesome. I think that Haven deserved to die. It wasn't fair that she kept ruining Ever's life, good for Ever that she killed Haven!!!I'm also glad that Miles chose Ever over Haven. "

— Michal, 5/6/2013" Night Star is basically Dark Flame with Haven as the villian instead of Roman. I honestly couldn't even finish it. I quit caring about the plot and characters three books ago. I continued to read hoping that the books would get better and they didn't. I will not be reading Everlasting. "
