#1 New York Times bestselling author of American Assassin—now a major motion picture

The fallout from a horrific Washington explosion has just begun—and so has CIA superagent Mitch Rapp’s hunt for a killer with a personal agenda—in this explosive thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Vince Flynn.

In the final weeks of a fierce presidential campaign, a motorcade carrying candidate Josh Alexander is shattered by a car bomb. Soon after the attack, Alexander is carried to victory by a sympathy vote, but his assailants have not been found. When CIA director Irene Kennedy and Special Agent Skip McMahon receive damaging intelligence on Washington’s most powerful players, they call on Mitch Rapp—the one man reckless enough to unravel a global network of contract killers on an explosive mission that leads back to the heart of our nation’s capital…and the inner sanctum of the Oval Office.

" Unfortunately I was disappointed with this book for one specific reason. I think it had probably 10 times as much profanity as all of his previous Mitch Rapp books combined. Having an F-bomb on almost every other page was really disappointing. "

" The book was building up to a big confrontational ending. I was expecting the "bad guy" to be publicly embarrassed, but nope, didn't want the "good guy" to suffer any more. WEAK ending! Otherwise would have been 4 stars. "

" Gosh, this was the crummiest book written so far. Just stupid writing, giving you details that were unnecessary and slowed down the pace too much. But an OK story, and one of those you just can't put down no matter how much you don't care about hearing what side Kennedy was sleeping on when she woke up to her alarm clock. "

" This series of the character Mitch Rapp is pretty good fun reading. He is a counterterrorism agent for the CIA who goes after the terrorists before they strike. I've read the whole series back to back, so it gets a bit redundant, but with the normal spread of new books in a series coming out it will be less so I'm sure. "
