"Another Mitch Rapp story, another four-star effort. I'm still waiting for Flynn to completely blow me away with one of these the way, say, Ludlum did with his best work. Maybe that will never happen since Flynn chooses to focus more on political intrigue than action. Nevertheless, this was another solid, enthralling installment, with good dual plotlines and compelling characters throughout. Reading this one at the exact same time as the real-life Palestinians were making noise at the UN made it particularly poignant. I will definitely read every Rapp tale. Flynn's authenticity and attention to detail, along with Rapp's penchant for cutting through the crap, is what makes these so readable."

“Executive Power is political thriller at its best.
— Midwest Book ReviewExecutive Power couldn’t be more timely.”
— St. Paul Pioneer Press“Flynn’s timing with these thrillers is uncanny…Another explosive tale of international intrigue from a master of the high-concept thriller.”
— Booklist“George Guidall’s reading is flawless. As he keeps the story moving at a brisk pace, Guidall saves his best performances for the interactions between Rapp and his new wife and between Rapp and CIA Chief Irene Kennedy. The scene in which the two women discuss Rapp’s gunshot wound to the derrire is particularly memorable.”
— AudioFile" Enjoy Mitch Rapp. However this book makes me question the people and the power people have over the President and the decisions he makes. "
— Debbie, 2/19/2014" Mitch is at it again....a well structured, well paced and well told story....I'm reading these pot-boilers a bit our of sequence but this one is when Mitch in just married and balancing the priorities of saving the world (Again!) and sorting out how to be in a newly married relationship with a career wife and White House Press Reporter ( only one character for both).... He better learn quickly or he'll get bitten in the ass.....Well, he does.....but what he does is yours to find out....I liked it as a better / best book of Flynn's and a good beach read....but then again, I'm in Kau'ai!!! Aloha "

— Tom, 2/10/2014" I loved it. i liked "
— Nathan20, 1/21/2014" I think Flynn did an especially good job with the bad guy in this one. Mitch is best in the Middle East. "
— Jack, 1/18/2014" Another fun Mitch Rapp book! "
— Serri, 1/15/2014" This is another in the series with Mitch Rapp and it is always action packed. It is a very interesting read even some sex in the story line. "
— Ron, 12/26/2013" Again, an interesting plot concept. Multiple threads come together nicely. this stuff is easy to read and fun to read. I highly recommend this series and author "
— Robert, 10/27/2013" Think Jack Bauer for books. This is book 4 in the Mitch Rapp series. At this point, they sort of started to mix together in my memory (my first book from Flynn was "Term Limits", so it's similar), but I'm sure it was excellent. "
— Denise, 10/14/2013" This is the first book in the Mitch Rapp series. If you like Jason Bourne, you'll love Mitch Rapp. Good book. "
— Amanda, 9/20/2013" Not too much ambiguity with Flynn: good guy kills bad guys and gets girl. Perfect airplane reading. "
— Ted, 7/31/2013" I'm a Vince Flynn fan . . . his books are wonderful! "
— MaryHelen, 7/4/2013" Fourth book from Vince Flynn's fantastic Mitch Rapp Series. Haven't been disappointed yet. Nice fast reads with good pacing. Will continue to read... "
— Todd, 6/15/2013" I read this a while ago so can't be too specific. But it is a great read by Flynn "
— Judy, 8/13/2012" amusing enough for a plane ride ;) "
— Noel, 4/25/2012" This installment needed more action. I liked the first half of the book and the rescue mission, but the second half had lots of history about the middle East and I felt it dragged a bit. "
— Ali, 4/19/2012" One of the best Mitch Rapp books. "
— Andy, 3/10/2012" Mitch Rapp has of course saved the free world, even after being turned into a paper-pusher. This one concerns leaks in the agencies and what Mitch needs to do to fine the leaks and stop a terroist threat. "
— John, 11/29/2011" Terrorism, Mideast issues and of course the one and only Mitch Rapp, a ruthless assassin for the US-a former Navy Seal and the only one in the US who can solve the problems and be home for dinner. Boy, do I need to move on. "
— Mike, 9/26/2011" I love anything that Vince Flynn writes! "
— Karen, 9/3/2011" It is ridiculous that I keep reading these books. they are so insular, so right wing, so...I hate to say it, but boring. Hmph. "
— Katherine, 6/6/2011" 3 and a half

My 4th Mitch Rapp. Always a pulse raising diversion. "
— Alice, 5/10/2011" Somehow missed this one when it first came out, and saw the paperback in the supermarket. Reading it out of order (without realizing it at first) threw me off a bit. Still a good yarn. "
— Mark, 4/17/2011" Fine story, nothing too exciting.
Again, I did not like the ending. It just kind of ends without a cocnlusion in my opinion. "
— Tejka, 3/22/2011" I really enjoyed the speed of this book. Love a spy book! "
— Justine, 3/15/2011" Love this series, about half way through. "
— Dolores, 3/13/2011" Mitch Rapp takes a step back. "
— Greg, 3/12/2011" Fast paced book featuring Mitch Rapp and his undercover team. Very up to date topic considering the unrest in the Middle East. "
— Sheila, 3/3/2011" Intense! Keeping track of the myriad of characters, countries and political agendas was challenging. I look forward to the next in the series. "
— Christa, 3/3/2011" As with all Mitch Rapp books this did not disappoint "
— Nneka, 2/21/2011" With seemingly 2 separate plot lines going, Flynn closes up one of them with 1/3 of the book still to be read. It was a struggle to continue reading, but the end progressed nicely and was fairly thrilling. "
— Scott, 2/12/2011" Listened to on tape. Okay story, predictable writing. It filled the time in the car. "
— Susan, 2/10/2011" Vince Flynn and his hero Mitch Rapp are always a fun read. This one is good but not great. Still I am reading all of them in order. This is the 4th. Sort of an American James Bond dealing with domestic issues that somehow expand to world wide issues.df Fun and entertaining. "
