"Macomber's Cedar Cove novels are like comfort food. I do read many other authors, but I always come back to her whenever I need a pickup. 50 Harbor Street is no different- and I think I've finally got all the residents down- just in time too, since Macomber keeps adding new ones. Usually, she ends the books at a good place that feels like a pause- but not here. I feel like I want to jump right into the next one to see what happens next."

" As always a great story :) "
— *Hayley*, 2/19/2014" I enjoy reading about the residents of Cedar Cove. It was interesting to read about Cedar Cove's private investigator Roy McAfee and his wife Corrie and their children. Its nice the way Debbie weaves the stories of the Cedar Cove families in and out of main family of the book. Nice job! Can't wait to start the next book. "
— Jeanne, 2/10/2014" Better than the last one. Although midway through I guessed who the mystery person was just not their identiy/name. That was a big surprise. It's starting to get very predictable in places throughout most of the book but there was a couple surprises here or there (like the last chapter primarily). Overall, better than the last. "
— à®, 1/31/2014" Filled in the details that I missed by not reading the series in order. Good story. "
— Linda, 1/20/2014" I have read all in this series to date and highly recomend them I just love her characters. "
— Zephyr1, 1/15/2014" continue to love this series....taking a break...but I'll be back to it. "
— Sherryl, 1/3/2014" Another great book in the series. As with the previous books, this has been written in the style of a soap opera and always ends with a cliff hanger which inevitably leads into the next book in the series. I'm looking forward to tackling 6 Rainier Drive already. "
— Grace, 1/3/2014" loved it just as much as the other books in the series! "
— Beth, 12/23/2013" This is a nice romance novel to read or listen to at bedtime. "
— Judy, 12/16/2013" Finally I found out where the letters came from. I enjoy this series but everytime I turn around there is something more stirring up. So on to the next book for me. I'm destined to finish this series soon. I just can not get enough. "
— Alysha, 12/15/2013" Who is sending the postcards, and why? Good story. "
— Nicole, 12/14/2013" Where to begin- so much happened to everyone in this book. Grace and Cliff, newlyweds. Cal even has a happy new beginning with Linette. Jack has a heart attack and almost dies. Poor Olivia was scared out of her mind. The biggest story was the Lighthouse restaurant- holy moly. "
— Christine, 12/4/2013" Finished another one- an ongoing saga in a small town. Quick read! "
— Suzanne, 11/23/2013" #5 in a series. It is starting to drag a bit....and I just noticed on the library shelf at least three more. We'll see. "
— Kasey, 11/21/2013" Just another great read from Debbie Macomber...can't wait to start the next installment of these great books "
— Sharon, 8/17/2013" I'm enjoying making my way through the Cedar Cove series! I love the characters and the books are great, easy and enjoyable reads. "
— Mary, 6/29/2013" I love this series!!! It is very addictive. "
— Marti, 5/25/2013" A great series keeps getting better! "
— Sarah, 4/1/2013" Didn't like this one as well as the Blossom Street series. Too many characters to follow. "
— Kim, 1/29/2013" I liked this fifth book of the Cedar Cove series. Many characters to keep it interesting. "
— Bobbie, 11/26/2012" I finished this one last night and had to go to the library right away today to get the next two! Just give me a couple days on a beach and I could finish them! Oh, this is Minnesota, guess that won't happen but these are so good. "
— Karen, 6/2/2012" I think that I'm finished with Cedar Cove series for awhile. I detest the way the author feels the need to rehash. "
— Mary, 5/29/2012" I like these small communities series. But this one just isn't working. I don't know if it's because I have a hard time relating to these characters or if it's just so slow moving. 5 families and their problems are a little much. "
— Heather, 4/9/2012" Macomber is back on track with this one, wrapped up a couple story lines and set up a couple more. Ended on a decidedly unexpected note... "
— Deborah, 2/21/2012" Book #5 of the Cedar Cove Series. Good reading. "
— Connie, 10/10/2011" a continuing soap opera. a good read while at sea "
— Jeanne, 10/9/2011" Just an easy read. The characters are strong, the story is predictable, but worth reading anyway. "
— Susan, 8/22/2011" I'm a Debbie Macomber fan, but this was my least favorite book of hers that I've read. Too many convoluted story lines and characters-I was beginning to lose track! "
— Jennifer, 8/7/2011" #5 in the Cedar Cove Series - very delightful series. "
— Cheryl, 6/3/2011" It was a surprise to see where the mysterious postcards were coming from, but aside from the reveal, not much happened with this. I also find it hard to believe that she would do this. The rest was good, I do like the series, but nothing special. "
— Ocean, 5/27/2011" True to the soap opera style of writing that is the Cedar Cove series. It is nice to catch up with some of the town's other characters in the season of Christmas. However, it was a little over done with all of the similarities of the birth of Noelle to the birth of Christ. "
— Kathy, 4/30/2011" This is another in the Cedar Cove series. These are light reading but enjoyable. Great for carrying with you to read while waiting for doctor appointment. This book gives you two Christmas vignettes, both good. "
— Marilyn, 3/15/2011" I endorse this as a Christmas read. Not only does it have a holiday feel but it has the Christmas Story
woven into the novel. "
— Talisa, 1/30/2011" Loved this look at some of my favorite characters! "
— Kelly, 1/24/2011" I thought this was a really sweet novel, pick it up for a good read. "
— Andrea, 1/21/2011" This is a very good book. I can't put it down I just want to keep reading it to find out what happens next. I love Debbie Macombers books. "
— Becky, 1/11/2011" The rating is based on the first short story, 5-B Poppy Lane as I had read the 2nd story over the summer. "
— Mom2jngncna~, 12/30/2010" It's always nice to read a Debbie Macomber book at Christmas, its like visting an old friend. "
— Cindy, 12/28/2010" I bought this book thinking that it was a new book but I have already read these stories in 2 other books. They are good, but not happy about spending money on this book and finding out that I already read it!

"
— Amber, 12/23/2010" Good light reading. This book contains two parts. The second part filled in the gap I was looking for in the Cedar Cove series. "
— Bobbie, 12/22/2010" Disappointed with this book. The cover makes it sound like it is the latest Cedar Cove series. It is a republsh from a few years ago. "
