Mother-to-be Mary Jo Wyse arrives in Cedar Cove on Christmas Eve, searching for her baby’s father. David Rhodes had said he’d be in town. But he isn’t. Which leaves Mary Jo stranded, pregnant and alone. And there’s no room at the local inn.…
So Grace Harding brings Mary Jo home to her nearby ranch. She and her husband, Cliff, have a houseful of guests, but they offer her a room over their stable (currently sheltering the animals—including a donkey and a camel—for Cedar Cove’s Nativity pageant!).
When Mary Jo goes into labor that night, a young man named Mack McAfee, a paramedic, comes to her rescue, just as her brothers—the three Wyse men—show up in town. The people of Cedar Cove join them in celebrating the birth of baby Noel. But no one has more to celebrate than Mack. Because this Christmas brings him faith, hope and love....

"Definitely a really good Christmas read. I have read most of Macomber's Christmas books and really have never been let down. This was my first time delving into the iconic Cedar Cove series, and I do feel that not knowing all of the characters and backgrounds was for me what made it 4 stars instead of 5. She does have a listing of all the characters and backgrounds in the beginning, and I found myself flipping back and forth constantly to try and figure out who was who. It isnt like this made it unreadable, but I do believe if you know the Cedar Cove series then you will enjoy this that much more. I feel it would have also made the book that much better for me had I know all the back stories rather than coming in at the very last book for the series, where I knew nothing. Anyway, like I said, still a great holiday read and that is what I am looking for. Every late November and December I read nothing but holiday books and take a break from my usual reading habits. I honestly look forward to it every single year and find that reading these types of books put me in such good spirits and it just goes hand in hand with the season. I am not looking for anything serious or heavy...rather, I just want something light and fun and full of the Christmas spirit and this one did not let down!"

" What a great way to end the series. Brought everyone back to see what they have been up too. "
— Amy, 2/2/2014" Debbie Macomber writes wonderful romances with an involving immediacy of characterizations. She makes the people very real for the reader and quickly draws you into the story line. I read "1225 Christmas Tree Lane" all in one sitting because I really wanted to know the outcome of the reunion romance between Beth Morehouse and her former husband, Kent. Their determined matchmaking daughters, Bailey and Sophie, have one goal in mind: getting their mom and dad back together! Beth runs a Christmas tree farm, and in addition to her scheming daughters, the impending arrival of her ex-husband, and the hustle and bustle of selling Christmas trees, she has to find homes for ten abandoned puppies! Placing those precious pups in the proper places is the perfect way for all of the residents of Cedar Cove to once again touch base. As the final line in the book says: "It was the kind of town anyone would love to call home." Brava! Thank you, Debbie! "
— Virginia, 2/2/2014" I enjoyed the story. Typical Debbie Macomber....she is a great story teller. "
— Carole, 1/28/2014" This was a cute Christmas story that makes the reader feel good when everything works out in the end. "
— Nancy, 1/12/2014" This was my first Macomber book. Overall it is a cute, light read that is good for December when life is so hectic. However, I probably wouldn't read another one... just a little too predictable, underdeveloped, too many characters for such a short book. "
— Marie, 1/11/2014" This was a nice wrap up of the Cedar Cove series although I'm sorry to see it end. "
— Arbkdbarb, 1/11/2014" I thought that was a great book and I was very happy that Beth and her husband got back together "
— Christine, 1/10/2014" Good fast Christmas read. "
— Pis4Piglet, 1/7/2014" Sad to say good-bye to all the characters as it is the last book in the series. A nice job was done telling every character's story. I will miss Cedar Cove and all the couples, children and friends. "
— Theresa, 12/29/2013" For this busy season i like to read a good fluffy Christmas book!!! This one looks perfect! "
— Tracy, 12/25/2013" Sad to know this is the last in the series. I'll miss the characters. Still it's an enjoyable way to get in the Christmas spirit. "
— Laurie, 12/20/2013" I'm sad to see this series end. I really enjoyed the citizens of Cedar Cove. "
— Ktnrain, 11/28/2013" Macomber did an excellent job wrapping up the series with this one ... she was able to pull in all of the main characters and give you not only a brief synopsis of what their story had been, but also caught you up-to-date, in just a matter of a couple of pages. "
— Kati, 6/12/2013" Although I enjoyed the book, I don't feel that it was as good as the previous Cedar Cove stories. "
— Lesley, 1/31/2013" And so ends the Cedar Cove series. Quick, easy read, cleaning up the lose ends of the series. "
— Maggie, 12/8/2012" I've loved the Debbie Macomber Cedar Cove series, some more than others. This one went much more quickly, perhaps because I'm finally growing weary of all the characters. Still ok but not as much fun as the others. "
— Beegold, 11/3/2012" The story was one of those warm and fuzzy sort of things. It was okay, but not deep. "
— Beth, 4/17/2012" Nice closure to the Cedar Cove Families "
— Margaret, 9/3/2011" 3.5 Stars I wish I had started the series from the beginning to get to know the characters but it was a short enjoyable read. "
— Tanya, 6/14/2011" Very good. This book wrapped up all the previous relationships with closures. Enjoyed! "
— Barbara, 5/19/2011" True to the soap opera style of writing that is the Cedar Cove series. It is nice to catch up with some of the town's other characters in the season of Christmas. However, it was a little over done with all of the similarities of the birth of Noelle to the birth of Christ. "
— Kathy, 4/30/2011" This is another in the Cedar Cove series. These are light reading but enjoyable. Great for carrying with you to read while waiting for doctor appointment. This book gives you two Christmas vignettes, both good. "
— Marilyn, 3/15/2011" I endorse this as a Christmas read. Not only does it have a holiday feel but it has the Christmas Story
woven into the novel. "
— Talisa, 1/30/2011" Loved this look at some of my favorite characters! "
— Kelly, 1/24/2011" I thought this was a really sweet novel, pick it up for a good read. "
— Andrea, 1/21/2011" This is a very good book. I can't put it down I just want to keep reading it to find out what happens next. I love Debbie Macombers books. "
— Becky, 1/11/2011" The rating is based on the first short story, 5-B Poppy Lane as I had read the 2nd story over the summer. "
— Mom2jngncna~, 12/30/2010" It's always nice to read a Debbie Macomber book at Christmas, its like visting an old friend. "
— Cindy, 12/28/2010" I bought this book thinking that it was a new book but I have already read these stories in 2 other books. They are good, but not happy about spending money on this book and finding out that I already read it!

"
— Amber, 12/23/2010" Good light reading. This book contains two parts. The second part filled in the gap I was looking for in the Cedar Cove series. "
— Bobbie, 12/22/2010" Disappointed with this book. The cover makes it sound like it is the latest Cedar Cove series. It is a republsh from a few years ago. "
