Publisher Description

1105 Yakima Street,

Cedar Cove, Washington

Dear Listener,

You’ve probably heard that my wife has left me. Rachel’s pregnant, and she says she can’t handle the stress in our household anymore. My thirteen-year-old daughter, Jolene, is jealous of her. Maybe it’s my fault. As a widower I spoiled her-

Jolene was reading over my shoulder just now and says that’s not true. She claims Rachel ruined everything. But that’s not true. The real question is: How can I get my wife back? I don’t even know where she is. She’s not with Teri Polgar or any of her other friends from the salon. The other question is…when will Jolene grow up and stop acting like such a brat? Of course, I’m not the only one in town with problems. Linc Wyse’s father-in-law is trying to destroy his business. And you know Charlotte Rhodes? Seems she’s becoming forgetful, and the family’s worried about her and Ben. Lots of other stuff going on—but Rachel is better at keeping up with it than I am.

If you have any idea where my wife is, give me a call. Please.

"I love this series and I think this book was the best one yet. I tried to read it slow (since I know there's only one left after this!) but I couldn't put it down. Things are really heating up between Rachael/Jolene/Bruce, things come to a head with Linc and the Bellamys and all of our favorite characters are present. Loved it and on to the next one (which is also the last one, boo!)"

" I liked this book, but it had too many characters for my liking and seemed like too many stories going on at once. I agree with some of the other reviews about Bruce. His character is really annoying. "

" As the series winds down, it's time to tie up loose ends! The book was good if you thought of it as a bunch of short stories, intermingled. I will miss Cedar Cove, but it's time for things to end! Can't wait for the last one!!!!! "

" I think this was a great series of Cedar Cove. It is bringing up the culmination of characters to her final book. I loved the way Beau wiggles in to the heart and home. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series... Left you smiling, and that's a good thing. "

" Bruce Peyton's pregnant wife left him because 13 daughter is jealous and nasty to Rachel. Oivia's mother and step-dad move to a high rise. Brother Will becomes attracted to Miranda. And Link and Laurie appear to be heading for happy ever after since in-laws are accepting. "

" Except for the 2011 Christmas book this is supposedly the last of the Cedar Cove series so many of the lives and situations are resolved as Macomber leaves these characters behind. As always, an easy, enjoyable read that I just have to finish once I pick it up. "

" I really enjoyed this book. The story of Rachel and Bruce caused me to get frustrated with Jolene and her behavior but eventually it seemed to work out. I have enjoyed the entire Cedar Cove series. Debbie Macomber is excellent author and will continue to read her various stories. "
