"This was probably my least favorite book but, I ADORED all the series overall. This series was unreal to me..Every book had so many things going on and always felt so different. I never got bored with any of the books. I just loved how Julia Quinn made you feel as though you were growing up with the characters. I loved how Anthony had grey hair and all the sisters had their own babies! It was all just so perfect. I wish it could just continue on! Violet should have had more kids. I recommend this series to any person wanting a good laugh and beautifully written love stories. GET ON IT."

Quotes

  • “Simply delightful, filled with charm, humor, and wit.”

    — Kirkus Reviews, praise for the series
  • “Narrator Rosalyn Landor returns with the eighth in the Bridgerton series, and she’s simply marvelous…Complications and devious plotting abound, and Landor does everything right to enchant and delight. Her portrayals of Quinn’s women characters are witty, wily, or airheaded. Her men sound virile, intense, and completely dedicated to seduction or chicanery. This delightful Regency romance isn’t the strongest in the series, but with Landor’s remarkable range of voices at the helm, it’s smooth listening all the way. Winner of the AudioFile Earphones Award.”

" Liked the story but Gregory falling in love the second he saw a woman's neck was a bit of a turn-off from the start, and there were other plot elements that I just didn't like. Otherwise it was a good read. "

" Long book with many turns. Apparently this is the last in a series of books. I have not read the others, although I may as listening to audio books is lovely background "noise". The story was predictable but with tender kissing scenes it was fun. "

" Least favorite of the Bridgertons. Felt like Quinn rushed through plot or had to deviate from her writing to try and make Gregory's story stand apart from the rest of his siblings. Lucy was also kinda unlikeable! "
