"New author for me....I have enjoyed her writing. The book moves along at a steady flow. I am able to understand the story even though I did not read book one. This book picks right up and you can understand the storyline. Finding the hook of the book is easy. Love Mavis and her gift of hospitality. Also love the storyline given to the animals! I am a person who loves shooting and I come from the land of Annie Oakley...so I identified with this storyline and the love for guns! I found this book to be one the reader could believe in. I would read another book by this author."

" I absoulutely loved this story and was sorry to have it end. I only wish I would have read the first book before this one. I will definitely be looking for the next one (#3) in the series. Highly recommend to others who enjoy a good western romance. "
