Welcome back to Virgin River with the books that inspired the hit Netflix series...
Virgin River became a safe haven for Sacramento prosecutor Brie Sheridan after she nearly lost her life at the hands of a crazed criminal. Though tough and courageous, she has some fears she can't escape.
LAPD officer Mike Valenzuela was badly wounded in the line of duty. When he agrees to become Virgin River's first cop, he does so knowing it's time he settled down. Twice divorced and the lover of too many women, he secretly longs for the kind of commitment and happiness his marine buddies have found - a woman who can tie up his heart forever.
Mike will do anything to help Brie free herself from painful memories. Passionate, strong and gentle, he vows to give back to her what she's so selflessly given him - her heart, and with it, a new beginning.

"I am really enjoying the series. This is book 3. I have just started book 4 in the series, but think I will have a little rest from Robyn Carr when this one is finished and read a different genre, then come back to her later in the year. 4 books one after the other is a bit much - but I do like her writing and really enjoy the characters."

" I am enjoying this Virgin River series, and the way the characters are growing and new ones are being added. "
— Denise, 1/26/2014" My only complaint about this book is that for a book that was suppose to be about Mike and Brie, they seemed to be character in the background. I will be interested in seeing if they come out more in other books "
— Bethany, 11/27/2013" I stayed up all night to finish this book. I liked Book #2 better but this one was good also. I cannot wait till I can read the rest of these but they will not be released until November of this year and the other 3 in 2009 according to the authors website "
— Christel, 11/19/2013" This was ok. I didn't love it. I doubt I would pick up the rest of this series. "
— Robyn, 11/18/2013" Loved the story between Brie and Mike. "
— Nicole, 11/17/2013" I love this book as well. I enjoyed reading about how Mike and Brie became a couple and overcame their problems with having each others side. "
— Kimberly, 10/13/2013" I am loving this series! I really like how it is so integrated with the rest of the books. "
— Jill, 9/28/2013" The Virgin River series is a must! This is an author that I have read a lot of and have added her books to my 'keeper' book shelf. Most I have read at least twice and some even more than that. "
— C, 8/22/2013" excellent book - enjoying the series "
— Peggy, 2/9/2013" #3 in the series. Still very good but not as good as the first 2 books. This one's about Mike, another ex-Marine who falls for his buddy's sister. All of the men in these books are strong, rugged, hero types, while the women are also strong professionals. "
— Connie, 8/25/2012" So, so good. Another wonderful entry in the Virgin River series. This series is so addictive. I love this town and all the people who live there. I love that she writes strong women (I love Brie) and strong men as well. I love her writing style. "
— Jenn, 8/15/2012" Just say no to Amazon invasion. "
— Beth, 6/30/2012" Touching and sweet with enough drama to remind me of General Hospital in the 90's. Book 3 saw an introduction of even more likeable characters into the series. I think I may have developed an interest in smokin' hot marines. Hoo-rah! "
— Tracy, 6/25/2012" Good story, but it would have been a lot better if she skipped the Spanish. It was botched up and the translation did not match. It is a good story, and if you don't know the Spanish language, I'm sure you will really enjoy it. "
— Edelmira, 3/31/2012" Mike and Bree - Tommy and Brenda - Paul and Vanni "
— Mayi, 12/26/2011" My least favorite of the first 3 but still a great book. I love this series. It makes me laugh and makes me cry. I thoroughly enjoy a book that can draw on all my emotions and Robyn Carr is amazing at it! "
— Megan, 12/6/2011" I loved it. I am reading the Virgin River Series and each new book I begin it's like being right there with the family. This series is a must read for anyone that loves a good wholesome read. "
— Marjorie, 9/9/2011" My grade:B- "
— Sheri, 6/10/2011" Nice easy read. A series book, good to break up my mystery/suspense/murder reads! "
— Vanessa, 5/23/2011" A great series, I'm starting to really enjoy the 'community' in these novels. The men are handsome, virile and plain speaking and the women are beautiful, lonely and passionate, aaaaah and things move very fast in this little town! "
— Leanne, 5/18/2011" Good story, but it would have been a lot better if she skipped the Spanish. It was botched up and the translation did not match. It is a good story, and if you don't know the Spanish language, I'm sure you will really enjoy it. "
— Edelmira, 4/26/2011" 3.5, slightly more sappy than the last one but I enjoy this series- quick reads and each book focuses on one of the people living in the small town but they always talk about everyone you've been introduced to in other books. "
— Beatrizz1983, 3/25/2011" Loved the story between Brie and Mike. "
— Nicole, 3/21/2011" Love Mike and Brie! Also love getting to see more of my Virgin River favorites. "
— Liza, 3/18/2011" As I read each book in this series, I enjoy the characters even more and am able to visualize the landscapes and places that Robyn Carr paints so well. Only problem is that once I start reading, I find it difficult to pause my trip through Virgin River and points beyond. "
— Char, 3/8/2011" Once again I didn't like the theme this one took. Attacked in the city, trying hard to recover. Along with a cop shot on the job. Both leads have similar problems. Nice that they found each other. "
— SJuhl4, 3/4/2011" Covernya cantiiik dg warna yg bkin mata segar.Isinya?Sm spt 2 judul sblmnya, buku ini jg bnyk mngandung sex education. "
— Mahareni, 3/2/2011" This 3rd installment of the lives of the people of Virgin River where, once again, filled with just a wee bit of mystery, a lot of love, happiness, and peace. Quite a satisfying read! "
