" The books seemed good, until I started reading the intimate scenes. Oh what purple prose. It made me angry enough that by the time I got to the "deflowering" scene, I didn't want to continue reading the book. Definite wall-banger at this point. The three stars are only because of the fact that this book interested me in the rest of Cynsters (which I now won't be following up on, since I'll just get angry again when the love scenes start). "
