"I'm not really sure why but this book was my least favorite of the O'Malley books. I think part of it was that I never fully embraced Jack. He is not as integral as some of the other siblings in the books previous to his. So we don't get a good glimpse of him until now. This is not a bad book he just isn't my favorite character. I still would highly recommend this book."

" Part of a series of books. Each can stand alone but it is a compelling story of kids in an orphanage that decided they wanted a family. Once they became of age they petitioned the court to change their last name and became the family they so missed. The books show the dedication and devotion to each other all families should aspire to have and be. "
